Neon White was probably one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I have had in awhile. To be fair I do mostly on play one game (Rocket League) and I play it pretty competitively. I think the reason why I don't play more games isn't because I don't want to, but they cannot hold my attention as long. Neon White did that perfectly for me. It is a super fast paced, card, shoot em up game. The idea of the game is you have to complete a level as fast as possible using "Soul Cards" which have a primary and secondary function. The primary function is just shooting whatever gun it might be. The secondary function is called "discard". This uses the card ability. That may be jumping, dashing, or throwing a bomb. I think what really caught me off guard was the story. I though this was going to be something similar to SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT doesn't really have that much of a story (As far as I know. It is just levels you play in with very minor story). I actually really enjoyed the story of Neon White. I know most people hated the voice acting, but besides one or two parts it isn't bad.


I plan on 100% the game and achievements. When I do that I will post a more thorough review.
