Due to this games lack of support after GFWL (Games for windows live) shut down I can not recommend this game. Only if you are a lore chaser of the Resident Evil franchise, even then, wait for a sale.

Early Access Review
*Update:
It is now working and fun. Games can take a minute or two to find but it's to be expected under it's current build. Once you're in a game however it is a little vague as to what you are supposed to do, but it's still sorta fun to be stabbed in the back by someone who was helping you a few seconds ago.
There are still plenty of bugs but you wouldn't be here if you didn't expect it to be rough around the edges and be patient with it.

I have changed my recomendation to suit it's potential and the hard work the developers are putting in. To my count there were 6 patches in 24 hours, thats hard work right there :).
It is a cautious recomendation however because you need to accept its Beta/Early Access condition. If you are ok with that, then dive right in and have fun :)

Pre working review:
I messed up. I have spent so long trying to get the game working I can no longer get a refund (facepalm).

Don't get this game YET. Right now it's broken but that's expected for EA and Day 1 problems.
Just hang on a day or two untill they get a patch out that fixes connection issues.

I will update as patches get released.

A simple program that does exactly what it says and nothing more.
In essence, the program gives a full screen gaming experience with all the advantages of windowed mode.
This allows for seemless switching between windows which is advantagous for streamers and multi taskers.

My only dislike, is that the app does not stop showing that it is in use. This means your friends cannot join you or your game through steam. This is a huge issue which needs fixing.
The steam application Dimm Drive, suffered from a similar issue but was quickly resolved by the developer. Having this application affect steam functionality is a large issue that needs to be adressed.

At the moment I feel positive about this program, but the app taking presidence over games is a large issue for me because my friends cant join my game/server et al, because steam thinks I'm playing Borderless Gaming. This will result in me becomming annoyed with the application over time.

Apart from this oversight, it is a usefull app. It ONLY JUST gets a recommendation from me due to the above issues. I belive the positive outweigh the negative points, but this may be a deal breaker for you.

Highly recommended.
That statement comes with a caveat. This software is not the answer to all your problems. It will not resolve system or I/O errors, but it will allow you to experience blisteringly fast load speeds that boarder on seemless.
I will also do some basic explanation as to what speeds are, and how they matter. These will be general explanations to make them easy to understand, but avoid things getting overly technical.
To be honest, the geeks out there that are IT pro's need not read this review, because you are already aware of what it is, and what it can do.

How it works:
Dimmdrive uses a portion of your system RAM and turns it into a super fast hard drive.
It can also utilise a USB3 memory stick to the same effect that is much faster than a traditional mechanical Hard drive.
The best thing about Dimm drive is that you don't need 32/64GB of RAM. You can just upload portions of the game like maps and tectures, to a small 4GB drive and achieve similar results!

A couple of notes about PC bottlenecks.

LAG:
As some of you may know Lag is not just about net-code and connection issues. It can also be your Hard Drive (HDD) performance.
Ever suffered from what seems like lag or stutters in an offline game? Chances are that it's your computer accessing the hard drive, trying to load the next area or fetch textures.
Ever tried to play a game while your computer is running an antivirus scan? Gameplay will be greatly affected by what your computer is trying to do while you are playing a game.

Your Hard drive is comparatively one of the slowest components inside your computer. While it is a "none volatile" medium. This basically means that it is not affected by power supply (within reason) and the information is still there when you power off your PC.
RAM (Random Acess Memory) however, is incredibly fast, but it is volatile, meaning that when you turn off the power, all the information goes with it.
A USB 3 stick (in a USB 3 Port) would be an amazing boost to a clunky old 4800/5400rpm laptop Hard drive.

Here are some real world benchmarks on a system that is about 4 years old.

System benchmark info:
Note: These are not lab conditions, and the tests were run on a normal, daily use computer.

The benchmark it's self performs 3 basic tests of file read/write speeds.
4KB Read 4KB Write
512KB Read 512KB Write
8192KB Read 8192KB Write
And measures the speed at which these are done in MB/s. Larger numbers are better.

I7 3960X
32Gig Kingston Hyper-x ram (You do not need anywhere near this much, as you will see in a moment)
Win7 64

Drive 1: 3TB 7200rpm mechanical drive (This is my large game/storage drive)
Drive 2: OS drive, 2X SSD's in RAID 0 ( Raid 0 is a fast way of reading/writing information as it writes the information onto 2 drives rather than one. 2 drives that are acting as 1 drive. Theoretically twice the bandwidth/speed, but not actually twice as fast)
Drive 3: 64Gig Sandisk USB 3 memory stick
Drive 4: OCZ Revo Drive (Stupidly expensive SSD that connects via the PCIE)
Drive 5: 21Gig (DimmDrive) disk that uses system ram

Drive 1. 3TB 7200rpm mechanical drive

In the first image you see the graph on the left. MB = Higher is better/faster.
And the Log Image.
http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n538/Deviousfurball/Dimmdrive%20Benchmarks/HDD7200rpm3TBdetails_zpseadf8660.jpg
4k 0.08 MB/s Write, 56.05 MB/s Read
4512K 9.44 MB/s Write, 127.24 MB/s Read
8192K 60.61 MB/s Write, 128.39 MB/s Read
This is my storage drive. While I do keep games on it, it is a large work-horse of a drive, as such I do not expect it to be very fast. Large file reads/writes is where this drive does well (as you'd expect from a storage drive). Clocking in at 60.61MB/s write and 128.39 MB/s read. Quite respectable, but not what you'd call fast.

Drive 2: OS drive, 2X 120GB SSD's in RAID 0
Here is where it gets a little more interesting.

The numbers take a sharp jump here.
http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n538/Deviousfurball/Dimmdrive%20Benchmarks/Craid0NTFSdetails_zpsddb5ad11.jpg
4k 20.64MB/s Write, 71.39 MB/s Read
4512K 421.75 MB/s Write, 215.13 MB/s Read
8192K 719 MB/s Write, 612 MB/s Read

Now, lets compare that to the 64 Gigabyte USB 3 stick that only cost me £25.
Drive 3: 64Gig Sandisk USB 3 memory stick

4512K 156 MB/s Write, 188 MB/s Read
8192K 167 MB/s Write, 191 MB/s Read
Holy cow! Thats over twice as fast as the mechanical drive in some areas.

Now onto the stupid money and speeds.

Drive 4: 220GB OCZ Revo Drive 2 -X2 retailing at about £500

4512K 596 MB/s Write, 873 MB/s Read
8192K 554 MB/s Write, 1267 MB/s Read
Kinda silly fast. But you'd expect that for £500

Finally the proof that RAM is one of the most cost effective upgrades :)
Drive 5: 21Gig (DimmDrive) disk that uses system ram

4512K 1570.55 MB/s Write, 3938.46 MB/s Read
8192K 1479.77 MB/s Write, 4129.03 MB/s Read
Wow, just wow.
The RAM drive blew everything out of the water.

Conclusion.
9 out of 10
It still needs some tweeking and playing with to get the best results for you.
Like many other tools in a gamers arsenal, it's how you use it that makes the difference.
Will it stop you D/Cing in the middle of a ranked match? No, but it will remove one of the bottlenecks in your system. Even the USB 3 option is better than using a mechanical HDD (unless it's a high end drive).
If you game on a laptop and have a USB3 port. You need this tool.
If you have a High end gaming PC with RAM pouring out of every orifice. Its just funny to see a game load almost instantly.

Highly recommended.

I'm leaving a No because there is no "Meh" button.

If you like counterstrike this is right up your street and you should have lots of fun on the various missions that are fun.
The missions are a welcome change from the regular run-n-gun. Even though there is still plenty of that, you need to do other things besides.

I'm going to go out there and say that this game is NOT co-op. It's pvp. I have yet to find any co-op part to the game that does not involve another player killing you.
I will hold my hands up and say that of the modes I tried, none were co-op. That doesn't mean that they aren't there. It just means I didn't play for long enough to find them.

This isn't my kind of game but it would be very entertaining to those people that like Counterstrike. To those, I would recomend it. To everyone else... Give it a try. It's free-to-play, so what have you got to lose?
