Having been in the development oven for a good 5 years, Pizza Tower is the bastard child of Sonic the Hedgehog and Wario Land, and this is one dish that'll have you coming back for seconds.

Controls are smooth as butter and are easy to pick up but difficult to master, level design is great, and while it is somewhat short, the ranking system encourages replays - though these are entirely optional, so whether you're hungry for a quick adventure or you want a trip worthy of a three course meal, this game will please both parties.

The aesthetic of the game harkens back to both its Wario Land roots and to deranged animation you'd expect in oddball cartoons from around the early 2000's - while its beauty may be in the eye of the beer holder, those who appreciate the goofier side of things will savor the wonderful detail that each and every sprite brings. Mix with an equally goofy soundtrack with songs that bang so hard you could tenderize meat with them, and you've got a delightfully flavorful experience.

Overall, Pizza Tower is honestly one of my favorite games, and I'd wholly recommend it with a chef's kiss for anyone looking for some delightfully cheesy fun.
