A very good alternative to Runescape. Being able to idle the game without even having it open is great for those who are to busy to grind in RS like myself. Plenty of stuff to do and just as satisfying as skilling in RS imo If you played RS3 or OSRS you'll be right at home.

I really like this game's concept Art style an atmosphere. As great as all that is. I honestly feel like this game is missing quite a lot. Once you get to the third collection of fish, you start to realize that the game has nothing else to offer. there's nothing to do with your fish other than to collect them. Feed them food (aka idle for several minutes) And just pull the crank on the fish Slot machine.

I feel like this game would do amazing if it was converted into some sort of wallpaper for a desktop. Because it's just enough content to be entertaining in that situation. if you want a little something to waste time every here and there. This game is great for that. But if you're actually looking for real game play, it just isn't here..

DREDGE is a beautiful, handcrafted work of art that Black Salt is clearly very proud of. And after beating the game 100%, I can say that it was well worth the price. The atmosphere, art style, and story are very good. If the game intrigues you even a little, buy it. You will enjoy the experience.

This game is great, play it all the time. I just wish there was more things to do. You'll have done everything besides buy everything within the first 50 hours. Other than that, banger of a social game.

This is a review from a player who has completed most of what the game has to offer, plus has played significantly more of the first game as well as many other rouge-like games.

- Huge amount of content. You will find yourself discovering new items, secrets, strategies and interactions while playing.
- An addicting and satisfying game play loop, the game is always changing and it will always keep you on your toes.
- Beautiful graphics that are very easy to read and process.
- A fun multiplayer / co-op experience. Spelunking the caves with friends is always interesting, and can have great high moments and hilarious interactions.
- Difficult but rewarding achievements and secrets. There are still things i haven't discovered despite pouring countless hours into the game!

- Despite being the first level, the beginning area is brutal. I find myself losing most of my runs to the start of the game. It is filled with way more traps and hazards compared to the other areas of the game. Many of my friends have actually dropped the game because of the sheer difficulty of the starting area. This is pretty much the complete opposite of the first game, where the first area was simple, but still had a challenge.

- Unless you are playing with friends, I cannot recommend playing online with strangers. It is beyond easy to grief players in this game so pretty much all random matches result in people leaving, or immediate conflict.

- This game is very difficult to new / inexperienced players. There are a lot of variables to keep count of while playing, and from my experiences with others it can be a major turn off for people. Unless you are willing to put hours into this game, I cannot recommend it to the average player.

Overall, Spelunky 2 is a timeless rouge-like with alot of content to offer. If you enjoyed the first game, or have played other rouge-likes I would highly recommenced giving it a try.

Don't pick up this game in 2024. SOT currently has way to many problems for it to be enjoyable anymore. This game is flooded with players who use cheats, doxx, harass, threaten, and even can ban other players.

Despite this game using Easy Anti Cheat, you will constantly be finding players who are using cheats to ruin your game. Things like aimbot, flying and teleportation. These cheaters get next to no punishment due to the way sea of thieves works on steam. Cheaters can just make new Microsoft accounts to continue playing after bans. Rare seems to be totally fine with handing out bans on players in the community who are not even doing anything wrong, while there own player base gets eaten alive by these cheaters who will harass, doxx and threaten other players within the game as well on other platforms. Rare is also very willing to block and delete any sort of criticism there game and developers get. If you have a issue with the game good luck even getting anything other than a automated response, they will not help you.

Rare, unless you do something about these issues the player base will die out. I will not be playing this game until these issues are fixed.

One of the few jackbox titles where more than half of the game roster is actually entertaining.
