The 1.7 update and accompanying DLC finally put this game in a state where it delivers on its promises. While the war system still leaves much to be desired the changes since the release to the economic and diplomatic systems are a massive improvement over release. The price of the associated DLCs is quite steep but solely considering the gameplay itself I can cautiously recommend the game.

Reasonably fun game which still gets consistent updates. Last update seems to have fixed a lot of bugs and balance problems. Glad to see the game is back on the right track.
