Fun idea but not a lot of variety and terribly balanced in terms of scaling prices and income.

Fun idea, took me about 8 hours to get every achievement. That includes a restart after beating the game to get the last achievement, but if you go the right update path you can probably do it in ~6 hours. Still, for the price definitely worth it, good incremental mechanics, not too much grinding with the right strategy, and very satisfying when you consistently fill the screen by the end.

As others have said, this is pretty unbalanced once you get to the prestiege system ("knowledge transfer" in this game). You get one prestiege point for every 1 million exp, and that price doesn't increase. And you can upgrade your exp gain with those points (among other things), and that price also doesn't increase. So I think you can see the problem.

Early Access Review
It's only 1,99 EUR at the moment, and I can already tell I will spend a lot more hours having fun with this. While there are "only" 4 classes at the moment, every single run feels different so far, even with the same class. Compared to other games of this genre, where you usually fall into the same upgrade patterns. The randomness here just works, and I'm looking forward to future content!

Update after ~190 hours and the 1.0 release: The game is still absolutely worth it. Tons of content, crazy builds, and fun challenges. Plus the developers do a great job at listening to the community. Well worth the current price.

I don't think I've ever seen a puzzle game teach you its mechanics this effectively and seemlessly since Portal. No tutorial, not even any dialogue, and everything just clicks together for you in the end. Not a very long game, but amazing puzzle design, music and environments. 100% recommended.

Great story, fantastic graphics, and amazing soundtrack.
This was my first time experiencing this story, and I can absolutely recommend it. I played on Classic difficulty, and it had a good amount of challenge to it.
The only thing that's definitely lacking is the post-game content. Searching for all the collectibles was more tedious than anything else, and the reward, except for the achievements, non-existant.

Amazing detective game, one of the most interesting gameplay mechanics for a puzzle game I've ever seen. Great story, music, atmosphere, nothing to not recommend.

Probably my favorite Life is Strange game at this point. The game looks beautiful, has a nice atmosphere, and the way the power is used and portrayed is the best of all the games I think. I have to say I wasn't quite as intrigued by the story as in the first game by the end, but I think the characters and exploration of the town make up for that.

Both very relaxing and very frustrating to play. It's one of these games that you love to play even though you're terrible at it.

A short game with a charming athmosphere and relaxing puzzles. It's nothing to difficult, you could probably figure everything out with just guessing since there are no penalties. I wish there were more puzzles on the level of difficulty of the last one. My only other complaint is that the controls are a little unintuitive, there should probably be a seperate mouse button for rotating the object. All in all I would still recommend it if you want to do some easy-going tinkering for about 1-2 hours.
