Unreal Engine has become a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess which this game is suffering from... the game keeps crashing now and then and is overall very unresponsive.

Really not what I expected, after playing the first game. That aside, the game feels so unbelievably unresponsive and slow... i was bored after the 3rd mission and stopped playing it.

Something is just missing…

The game is a good attempt of bringing FF1 to the next generation of hardware. But at what cost?

Features are missing, the Font is ugly, the graphical settings are limited to a fullscreen toggle, movement is stuttery, vsync must be activated in (my case) n vidia control panel, bonus dungeons are missing and the graphic style is… lets say original… the psp graphics where phenomenal, at least integrate the option to switch.

A big developer like Square should really be able to do better! Especially with these technically simple to solve problems.

Overall still a good game but just not enough for a thumbs up.
