A very fun zombie sandbox survival game that pits you agianst hords of zombies while you try to survive for as long as possible. There is no hope. There is no cure. This is how you die. It reintroduces ideas of zombie games such as farming and healing your own wounds, but it brings to the table new ones such as if you get bit, to prevent from getting infected you can cut off the limb thats bitten before the infection takes you over. They are also working on npc survivors that you can befriend and use to help defend your base. By the way you can build your own base. That's right, but good luck finding the fire axe to chop down trees to get wood, the nails, and a hammer to put it all together. Yes there are some glitchs, but compared to what they were years ago when I first started playing it, they went a long way from where they started. They are also planning to add muiltiplayer so when that comes out, that's when the game will get really good. Some gamers might not like it because they're times where its enraging to find an area without zombies to make a safe spot, but if you start playing enough, you'll come to understand that where ever you start, thats what you are going to get, unless you kill most of the zombies in an area you want to make your base. They orginally had a story mode where you took care of your injured wife, but it isn't in there anymore and it's what the title screen is based off of. Lastly the one thing I learned from this game is that GUNS ARE A BAD IDEA, not only are they loud, this was proven on mythbusters, but the time it takes to aim, shoot and reload, is enough time for them to over run you and kill you. So yeah, to the people who think the shotgun or the chainsaw is the best weapon againse a zombie you are dead wrong... Well... undead wrong I should say...
