The State of this game is not what it used to be back before it became free the trust factor scandal is also new as well.

I'll explain--

Free to Play:

There weren't that many cheaters back then. yes there were still plenty of them but not to this degree. Free to Play is honestly a good choice due to the fact Valve already make millions on the market and cases that are only cosmetic but it also gives you money to buy games and even better skins or items from other games and even, in most cases, rank up your profile. The arms race update really helped bring CS:GO back into the public eye and making it free to play gained more players. Bust What Game After. Is The Problem

Trust Factor/Prime:

When you first pick up the game your trust factor is already determined. Based on your amount of games, how active your are in the steam community, how many friends you have, how active you are in-game like casual and competitive, your commendations, etc. Trying to smurf now is even harder because just like prime, the most hated thing about trust factor is if you report someone your trust factor will go down and the person you reported will go down as well even if there is no evidence to prove that person was cheating or just a genuinely good player. Even Prime was a deterrent against smurfing.

The best advice I can give to you smurf or not is to Stay Positive and try not to report people unless you are absolutely sure they are cheating griefing or any of that sort. and Do not call them out on it. 9 times out of 10 they will turn them down or go easy to avoid the overwatch or just make it harder for your team to play at their best.

Community:

Casual and Deathmatch is the best place for practice on skills and getting new friends in CS. But there will be an off chance that there will be toxicity of course.

Its Doesnt matter about if your a boy or a girl on CS. Toxicity and Harassment is one of if not the most challenging things to cope with on this game. You may get called names or get ♥♥♥♥ on. they might not even believe you're a female let alone a good player or smurf until you speak to them or prove it. All in all ignore them, there is a mute button for a reason and have fun.

TLDR:

Too Many Cheaters. Stay Positive. Git Gud. Stop being Toxic
