The absence of role queue will kill the drive to play this game after the 10th game in a row of 5 people auto picking DPS. This aint the overwatch killer yet, relying on gamers to be smart will ALWAYS fail

1.5.2 shouldve been the release state

Super clunky clone of Dark and Darker. They did good with some of the menu elements and the character customization, but its mobile clone level bad. The AI is truly awful too.

Closest comparison is Arena Breakout Infinite to Tarkov is Dungeonborne to Dark and Darker, a cheaper weaker clone that might appeal to some for a little bit, but wont last. Do yourself a favor and play a game creating the identity, not imitating it.

P.S. Your skills level up with you, so balancing is going to be EVERYWHERE

Why even have a test server???


I have 450 actual hours in this game, I have been playing since play-test 2! There's been several ups and downs during development of this game, but this indie dev team is one to admire. The release with no context did land poorly, but that's due to assumptions pertaining to people seeing the F2P tag when it WAS truly a demo. They then made my favorite change they have ever done, which was essentially letting High Roller be ranked, and ranked being a paid exclusive. As well as keeping F2P out of the market as to avoid RMT abuse.

The gaming community will eventually catch on and this game will take over its spot as one of the best extraction genre games out.

Day-Z meets Escape from Tarkov. Amidst one of the greediest outings of a company in a while its a great change of pace. As for the comments about performance, the last 48 hours is night and day difference.

Devs have been quick with Hotfixes too. Fun PVP, with a good sense of progression and an awe inspiring terrain. Definitely giveit the 1.5 hours it deserves even if you don't end up liking it.

i9 9900k cpu w/ 2080 ti gpu

Day One was super rough, they tried some BS with Nitrado, and both were at fault. Optimization was awful, game crashed every time without failed til I disabled menu transitions. 100% fix. Still poor Performance.

As of 11/13/2023 updated my graphics driver, it runs amazing now, Nitrado returned their prices to normal, and gave me credits for money spent already towards the acceptable pricing.

They said they wanted to update ARK 1 and make it better, as of now they have!

This game is 7 years old and it doesnt show.

The best Fast Paced Multiplayer Shooter / Mech Fighter out to date.

I got it for $3 on sale myself, bought it for two others at $30, and still have spent less on the new worthless MW3 game.

Do yourself a favor and play this til Titanfall 3 will inevitably launch.

It has some stuff that needs to be worked on, but all in all it has accomplished more in less time for me as a Survivor of being exposed to Yager as a company.

Movement is slower, abilities have multiple use cases

Oh and the full account upgrade is only $40 compared to Tarkovs $150 (unlocks full stash AND safe pocket)

The devs are following suit after Yager and cant find an identity, and now have said they are making two games to appease the playerbase, all 500 of us, thus splitting it farther and farther.

To my extraction genre sci fi peeps, we will struggle to find a home, but I can promise you now, what they did have is long gone due to really weak leadership and paper chasing.

Im too busy to "wait" for you game to come online for 48 hours and be gone for 3 weeks again. Blame whatever you want, but the issues are internal.
