Enjoyed the Hard Core aspect of the game but that falls off after the campaign, once you head to the end game maps everything goes down hill from there. Either you are 1 shotting everything because you are overlevelled for a map due the extremely time consuming grind for gear due to constant bad rolls or generally bad loot drops OR you are the one getting 1 shotted by normal mobs on a map that is 3 or 4 levels below your character level there really is no inbetween.

The game in its current state doesn't respect your time and for that I'll say this its not worth the time.

The game had a great start with a lot of potential. But a little way into chapter 2 it becomes immediately apparent that it is too dragged out. you space walk for 5 - 6 minutes to a location, need to struggle for oxygen all to realise that you don't have certain materials to achieve a specific task, 5 minutes back to base 5 minutes back to location and this happens all the time. Your tools have a low durability and items that should allow you to swap out a battery just don't. I really wish I could recommend but this game doesn't respect your time. If you want something with the same kind of concept just much better in my opinion go for Subnautica.

All I can say is bugs. It doesn't matter how much I enjoy the gameplay the fact that I have come across at least 5 repeatable game breaking bugs in my 8 hours of gameplay is pathetic for a Bethesda game. If you enjoy the Fallout franchise you will play it regardless. But for a game that is 9 years old to have this many bugs is just sad.

If you buy this game expect to restart your game for every bug you encounter which happens atleast 1 to 2 times an hour.
