It is just pure commentary on a game with text. I never actually tried to act like this "Freeman" character and if I attempted to act like the "Freeman" which exists in Freeman's Mind, then I would have more back story included along with humorous dialogue and shouting. HTNP stands for How Not To Play. Besides, last I checked, Ross Scott did not own Half-Life:Source to commentate on. Might as well say IRAMightyPirate and KrimsinYT are rip offs of Ross Scott.
