Borderlands 4 is a fantastic entry in the series. It's a fantastic game. They manage to keep the feel of the world, while turning the cringe humor way down, especially near the end where it gets very sincere. The gun-play is the best It's ever been in the series, and the random variation finally feels expansive enough to be interesting.
The pace they feed you the weapons has obviously seen a good amount of work, and it shows. Weapons are constantly dropped by enemies, mostly just as junk items, but right as you get bored of your current gun the game is sure to provide you an interesting variation with bigger number to boot.

It's very linear. There's practically no discovery or challenge. The ideas seems very thin. Even the few good ones weren't really used enough.

Early Access Review
This is a thoroughly enjoyable puzzle game. Even just watching a solution simulate is fun.

Compressure pretty much follows the standard Zach-Like formula, and applies it to the physical phenomenons of pressure and flow. I didn't expect the outcome to be as radically unique as it is.

It's a pretty short and simple game. The mechanics aren't that involved (it was clearly designed for mobile first), but the story carries it. I don't think it would have been better by being longer.

Rum is a very enjoyable, if somewhat short experience. My first playthough was about 2h30m in duration.

The game works fine from a technical perspective (I played it on linux using WINE, where it did have some performance problems).

The movement system is servicable, if not a bit "broken". You can stear RUMU by holding in the mouse button (in typical Torchlight/Diablo fashion), which works perfectly well. The game also allows you to single click to auto pathfind to a location. That's where the problems start, since the patthfinding will often drive you into walls or just get stuck. You also have to patfind close to an object, by clicking the ground nearby, in order to interact with the object. Instead of the game just pathfinding you close to objects out of range. I worked around this issue by just never using the pathfinding feature, which is a shame, since I think it fits the style of game better.

The graphics look as good in motion as they do in the still frames on the store page. It's a style i personally love, and the game represents it well.

I liked the story, and although fairly simplistic, it's also engaging. It's mysterious, but provides you with an unequivocal autoritative narrative in the end. While some games in this style choses to leave the story ambigous, RUMU closes the story of in a satisfying and logical way. When you are done playing the game, you feel like you have the complete story, and not just some peices you have to fit together.

The game feels very linear, and although there are places where I could see the game branch out, I haven't investigated that aspect. My gut tells me the story is entirely linear though, with the choices of the player having mininal effect on the major sotry beats.

Overall i recommend it for anyone who likes story driven investigation games. Be aware that it's short though, so the people wanting 8 hours of playtime should probably look elsewhere.

It's a great game. I love the story, and since it's been a while since i played the game I can tell you that it's memorable.

The mechanics don't really do anything to further the story in my opinion, but they are fun nonetheless.

It's a short game, but i think thats for the better. Had it been longer i'm afraid that the mechanics would have dragged down the game, since they don't really evolve much.

All in all it's a fun game with an interesting and unique story.

Risk of rain is a fantastic Rougelike. It features randomized level (To some extend) which greatly extends gameplay. The progrssion in the game is very slow, so expect to spend countless hours in the risk of rain to unlock all the characters. This keeps the game from becoming dull when shooting becomes too much. This is also a fantastic addition to the games multiplayer component, which is a 2-4 player co-op mode. In this mode the players cooperates with up to 3 friends to complete the games levels. The players share both XP and money.

The game has a fantastic loot system, that adds both random effects and buffs to your character. These upgrades keeps the game fresh and fast paced, since every game is different. No other games seems to do exactly what this game does, and if they do, they are probably not as good.

The other interesting component to the game is the timer. The game features a leveling system wich power you up as you play through and kill monsters. This backside of this leveling is the timer, which keep you moving. As time goes on, the game becomes significantly harder if you stay in a place and farm money, XP and drops. This tactic is therefore ill advised.
