I have been playing this game for almost 500 hours now and have played through the release of multiple DLC's and patches. Overall I really enjoy this game and have a few things that could maybe help you decide on this game.

1) This can be a very frustrating game.
Being a 1 v 4 asymmetrical game it can sometimes feel like your team mates are out to get you if you are playing with other people that you don't know or other aggravating things. My reccommendation is playing this game with a group of friends where you can have fun and communicate with others.

2) Game play can be clunky.
Depending on your system things like the new update to lighting could cause issues with loading into maps.
As of this review dedicated servers have not been implemented so there are issues with laggy games due to connection issues with killers as hosts. If you can muscle through until they come out it'll be a lot better!
Some times visual bugs can crop up like continual bleeding effects from Sloppy Butcher or gliding instead of running when injured. Be aware they happen and usually they don't affect the game play itself.

3) If you are having issues with skill checks as a survivor and it's making the game frustrating or unenjoyable I reccommend looking online for skill check practice tools. They can really help out, and I know that was a frustration that I had when I started.

Overall I think it is a very sold game, and while it has it's issues I do reccommend it.

Bastion is a beautiful game.
The mechanics are smooth and fit in well with the games' story. The sound track is also amazing!

Such a fun game with a unique play. I didn't know what to expect out of this since I though it was just another run of the mill survival type game but the graphics and the music style make it a game of it's own. The art style is a very classic and unique style, one that you can play on for a while without getting bored or sick of the graphics. Which is good because it is an open type of game. Overall I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun, easy and casual game to pick up and play.
