Gosh I love this game

LET THEM TASTE MY FIST

I remembered playing this game in a net cafe with a scrubby, potato PC 6 years ago, playing chapters after chapters and lost track of time. The graphics was ahead of its time back in the day, and I was stunned by it, but when time passes, it became just a memory. Recently found this back after the sale, I can afford a decent rig now and can finally experience the game at its most. The graphics is beautiful, the multiple paths you can take is interesting, although the changes are minor ( affecting voicelines, narrations and the live-action show that is in the game), but it's fine by me. The combat is fun, you have so many tools to work with and the game requires you to make use of all of them or be creative with them, so no one-move spammy combat.
This review seems like I'm biased, well, I am. It's been a trip to the past, reliving memories that I have forgotten for so long, and it's one of the few games that leaves me with a satisfactory smile after beating it and, even took the time to fully 100% it.

Mind blowing

Started playing not too long since launch, and I must say, it's a very different game now

- So the core gameplay is still there, still broken builds and insane damage when you reach half way through the game (at hardest difficulty), but it feels rewarding now. You can farm up your eddies and stats then proceed to buy legendary cyberwares and you're going to be a unstoppable force, but will still need to enter combat somewhat carefully (except quickhacks build since you can just zap gonks to death).
- The story is still the same, but the improvements on the game play and the bugs fix don't take the immersion out of the game anymore, at least it's for me. I used to just switch to 3rd-person driving/fast travel because the driving system sucks, but now it pretty fun to drive around and listening to the radio now.
- Despite many improvements and bug fixes, it's still have some minor bugs that lock you out from completing gigs, or no dialog for quests, but it's much better than before. But still keep in mind, you will encounter some bugs.
- New gigs added in are pretty fun, with some have funny situations and some have a pretty dark scenario, kudos to those gigs. The apartment system is actually good, you can now sit on your chair smoking and look down on NC while being high up on an Arasaka Tower - Pretty chill if you ask me.
Although Cyberpunk has improved drastically over the last few patches, both game play and story-wise, but it is not a perfect game in any way, you will have those moments that will annoy you and take your immersion off the game. But the studio never gave the game up, that's what mattered.

I can say give the game a try, especially you tried it since launch and you will have a totally new experience. Plus, they are having a new big DLC comin' right up, it's worth a second chance.
