Gud game

Its getting to where it should have been at launch. I enjoy it way more now thanks to the time and effort put in by the dev team. But it still has a bit to go before perfection.

Fun game, but please get it on sale. It is not worth the retail asking price of £12 due to it's insanely short length. I got it for a £1 a while ago, and (as of this review) have two achievements left. So I got my money's worth for sure.

I'm gonna reccommend this even though I wasn't really I fan of this one in the end, as there's no average option.
It's not a bad game by any means, you can tell that the developers really wanted to give this game that authentic Mad Max experience in terms of the world and the characters and it succeeds in those areas.
However, the game is just sort of boring, there's not really anything interesting to do in the open world aside from somewhat repetitive missions and the story is just next to non-existant.
It also becomes far too easy I feel once you start upgrading the strongholds (which isn't very fun neither), scavenging for water and weapons is no longer needed as you will recieve stuff when entering these areas, albeit on a timer depended on how far along the settlement is in terms of development. I honestly preffered having less of these at first and having to seek them out was sorta enjoyable?
I wasn't really a fan of some of the story based car races neither. I had found the best tyres in the game for the car, but there were some story based missions where, for whatever reason, you are forced to change how the car is customised for these missions. Completely making the whole concept of the custom car pointless. If you have the bettter parts, you should be able to use them for this stuff. Not just downgrade it because muh vidya gaem said so.
The combat is also sorta repetitive and not interesting, just a very simplified version of the stuff you've seen in the Batman Arkham series.

NANOMACHINES SON

Fun game with a great soundtrack. Also, some top tier waifu material.

A must buy, especially seeing as you can install modded maps/character skins that adds even more content to this already large game.

Good game, but is a significant challenge when compared to the first; which wasn't a particularly easy game neither. It's a longer game with more playable characters with different abilities and bigger maps(?)
The soundtrack is amazing and I definitely enjoyed it more than the first games soundtrack.
