Just to be upfront, I was gifted this game by a friend. However, that being said, that has not influenced my review of it at all.
This is such a fun, addictive game to play! At least it is for me. There are 10 cats per level to find, and there are also 3 "glass shards" to find per level...those are actually pieces of a postcard that is supposed to open a extra level if you collect them all. There's also various types of puzzles to solve...when you solve them they will reveal a cat that's been hidden! Some of the cats are in plain view but others other cleverly hidden.

What I've found as I've progressed through each level is that it gets more difficult to locate the cats...so it's not as easy of a game as you might first think! Also, be sure to click on all of the pots and vases...most of them will break when you do that and I believe you get an achievement for that...plus it's just fun to do! Lol

Also, if you have limited mobility like I do. This game can be played just using your mouse! Which is a huge plus in my book!
Definitely check this game out and if you have kids, you could play it together as a family, with the kids helping to point out the visible cats. No matter what age you are, I think you'll enjoy this game!

I really enjoyed playing this game! It's not a difficult game at all...it's actually fairly easy. It's a perfect game to play when you just want to be entertained and don't want to work hard solving any of the puzzles. The graphics and animations ran very well on my Win 10 laptop. The game was actually made in 2014 but you honestly couldn't tell it by the graphics. Or at least I couldn't tell it was...I only noticed it by the copyright at the end of the game.

The game is very cute and quirky and so much fun! It's also very bright and colorful.
You are setting frog prince's free one by one so that they can go find their princess's who have been put to sleep by the witch and they can only be woken up by a kiss from the frog...who once he kisses her, turns back into a prince again! There are quite a number of different locations to visit since each frog's princess is in a new location. When you get to each location there are puzzles to solve and still more locations you advance to and tasks to do. You definitely stay busy and I did get briefly stuck a time or two because I hadn't fully examined everything and I overlooked something!

So if you are looking for a fun, colorful, quirky point-and-click adventure game to play, then this just might be the game for you. It is a CE game, so it does have a bonus adventure and a strategy guide (if needed). I was able to complete the game in about 4 hours, so it's a decent length.

I'm really enjoying this game! I believe it's the 4th game in the series and I'm a little over half-way through it. At first I was worried that the levels were too easy...but that changed the further I got into the game. Now at this point, they went from challenging to really challenging to get all 3-stars on the level. You don't have a choice for a difficulty setting though. I also like the cursor in this one compared to the first game. In the first game, the cursor was hard to see and I was always "losing" it. In this game, the cursor is much easier to see so now I don't have to worry about "losing" it!

I have only played the first game of the series and now this one, so I don't have a whole lot to compare them to. But, I really like the changes they made in this one compared to the first one. In this one the "Merrymakers" those little green guys that used to distract your workers and put them into a daze...now, they are good guys and once you build their house, you can add them to one of your production buildings and they will help to increase your production. The only catch being, the production building has to be fully upgraded first. You still have a bad guy though, it's an evil elf that comes through and steals your product that you haven't picked up yet. However, the fireman still do their job and they will chase the elves away!

I really want to try the rest of the games in this series now! I believe that there are a total of 5 of them. If you enjoy this type of Time Management/Resource Gathering/Building games, then give this game a try! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have been!

I absolutely love this series! The graphics and scenery are so beautiful! I love the fairy tale style of the series! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy some spooky, mystery stories but it's just nice to be able to lose yourself in a gorgeous fairy tale now and then. The story follow Sophia as she continues her journey through the Goblin Kingdom to find the rest of her kind...humans! The mini-games you come across are for the most part pretty easy to do, some much easier than others. Often the goblins who help you along, will want you to play a game of Tri-Peaks with them....it's a version of Solitaire, which is actually really fun to play. This game is not a CE but you definitely get your money's worth with it...I played for just over 7 hours before finishing it! I loved every minute of it too!! This is the 2nd game in the series and I believe the next one is a CE version, Yay!! I highly recommend this game to all who enjoy IHOG's, especially if you enjoy the Fairy Tale/ Fantasy type ones.

Prior to playing this game, I re-played MCF: 13th Skull to refresh my memory a bit since this is basically a sequel to that game. I recommend that you play MCF: 13th Skull first but you don't have to...it just helps you to understand the story more.

There are morphing items and collectibles to find in each scene of the main game and then you will finish finding the rest as you play the Bonus game. They are actually pretty easy to see and if you get stuck and can't find one, the strategy guide has several pages devoted to showing their locations.

I enjoyed every single minute of this game! The story is great, the graphics are awesome and it has some very fun and unique mini-games and hidden object scenes ( HOS)! There was one search scene where you had to solve riddles in order to know what to look for! Very fun!!

This game is actually quite lengthy...I'm an experienced player and it still took me 8 hours to complete both, the main game and the bonus game, so you definitely get your moneys worth with this game! I highly recommend this game!
Here's an example of one of the gorgeous scenes that you will find as you play.

If you enjoy playing IHOG's , especially MCF games (Mystery Case Files:) be sure to give this game a try! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

This review is my own honest opinion of this game.

Glass Masquerade is one of the most unique and beautiful puzzle games that I have ever played! I have always bee a huge fan of stained glass, I just love how it looks and how the pieces are put together...it's a true work of art. So when I found Glass Masquerade I was instantly in love and just had to have this game! What could be better, my two favorite things merged together in a game...jigsaw puzzles and stained glass! However, this isn't your typical jigsaw puzzle!

The game play is pretty simple and you are helped out with pieces that are highlighted in red and they have small circles on them that you then match up to circles that are on the border of the puzzle. The puzzles range in difficulty from easy to difficult and you can see the difficulty of each puzzle on the map prior to starting it. The locations aren't all available at once, they will gradually become available as you solve the various puzzles in the countries. I really enjoy the music that plays as you are working on a puzzle...it's truly very soothing and relaxing. Sometimes if I'm having a hard time sleeping at night, I will play Glass Masquerade just to help me relax! If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles and beautiful pictures...then give this game a try! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!

This is a cute and whimsical game! You play as a tiny human in a mouse kingdom. You have come home to try and save your mother's home and the only way to do that is to win a tournament. The mouse princess gets stolen by a evil rat and you head out to save her! The story is actually a cute one and I think younger players would also enjoy this game.

It took me 4.8 hours to complete the whole game. The bonus chapter seemed somewhat short, which I found disappointing as I wanted to keep playing this fun little game. I liked that they kept items you found and used, in keeping with you being a miniature human, for example pencils are large, and you can make a bucket out of the top of a bottle and use a stapler to punch the holes to thread the rope through. The graphics are for the most part very well done, however I found the humans to be somewhat flat looking...not quite sure how to describe their look. But the animal were very well done and some of them pretty cute!

The mini-games were pretty easy and the HOS used the objects silhouettes and word lists which made them fun! Again, I think this is a game that would appeal to players of all ages, young and old. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did! Happy gaming! :-)

ETA. I forgot to add that there are two types of collectibles to watch for...mouse dolls and gold coins!

"Ballad of Solar" is a Time Management/Strategy game in which you also have to collect resources. The graphics are very nice and the character's are cute...however the fairy's laugh is annoying to me! The storyline is a cute one and there is some cheesy humor from your character's.

What make this game a little different from others of this genre, is how the levels are designed! There are either 2 or 3 parts to each level, (depending on the level) and when you finish 1 part your screen will either scroll sideways or vertically (with the timer stopped), your Prince and his crew will pack up the tent and then will run/ride to the next area and pitch their tent and then your timer will start back up and you continue to play. It really is a fun way to play each level!

There is definitely some strategy needed as you play, you really need to look at what route you are having to follow so you can make sure you have enough resources to get to what you need, when you need it! Your tools, Axe, Shovel etc.. are kept in crates and you can click on the crate without opening it to see what's inside it, so that's helpful. I've had to restart a level several times because I made a wrong decision and used up a resource and then couldn't proceed further! Those are some real "Grrr" moments! Lol

You earn gold stars for completing the level before the timer runs out. What's really nice though, is if the timer runs out...you still can keep on playing and finish the level! It doesn't make you start the level over, or kick you out of the game...you just don't earn any stars.

I'm having a lot of fun playing this game! If you enjoy this genre of game, give it a try! I hope this review has been helpful, and that you have as much fun playing this game as I am! Happy gaming! :-)

This is a really interesting game, in that it combines elements of Match-3, Hidden Object and Puzzle gameplay. There seems to be a nice balance between the Match-3 scenes and the HOS, so you don't tend to feel overwhelmed by one or the other. If HOS really aren't something you enjoy, you can also switch to a Match-3 type of game to finish finding the items on the list.

The graphics are very well done and the music is very pleasant, almost soothing to listen to as you play. To be honest, I'm finding the story just so-so...as a result, I'm not paying too much attention to it. I just want to get back to the gorgeous scenery and the fun gameplay!
I'm finding it a nice game to play in-between some of my other games. It's a nice game to relax with and to give your brain a break from more intense games you might be playing. If you enjoy playing Match-3 games, then you will definitely enjoy this game!

I'm finding "Demigods" to be a fun, challenging and yet frustrating TM/Resource Gathering game. The graphics are really good and your little people are actually pretty cute! Don't let the "cuteness factor" fool you though! This is a game that you really need to think out your strategy ahead of time. I've had to restart levels because I've gotten stuck.

You not only build building to supply you with building supplies and food but you also need to build altars...the altars each have special power-ups associated with them and they give you the needed energy to help clear obstacles and mythical creatures from the road. Pay attention to how much energy you have when you start a level and how much is going to be required to reach a certain altar...that will help you to avoid getting stuck and having to start the level over.

On one level, the timer ran out and I was asked if I wanted to restart the level or continue...I hit continue but it took me back to the map and I had to restart the level again. Grrr :-)

I'm honestly not paying a whole lot of attention to the story but it does seem to be pretty decent. There is some sort of bug with the game in regards to the sound/music. It plays just fine on the menu and map screen but on quite a few levels, as soon as you click on the screen to start the level, the sound disappears. That's not a deal breaker for me since I sometimes will listen to my own music while playing a game.

If you enjoy this genre of game, great graphics and a game that really makes you work for those gold stars...then this is the game for you!
