I haven't been drawn into a game this much in years; I literally just didn't want to stop playing. You always have doubts a kickstarted game will actually work out, and I'm glad to see to see that particular stereotype is wrong in this case.

I do caution that the game isn't for everyone, it's quite slow (as expected from the makers of Long War, which I never liked!) and there's something like 250 turns before the space game really starts to kick off. As of early access launch, there's also some roughness of balance and the pacing of the early spacegame is weird. Also the spaceship autodesigner is trash. Seriously, ask for advice on Discord or forums, do not trust the autodesigner.
