Just a few extra notes i have for people that are willing to buy the game and like to read reviews first:

Graphics:
If you have a pc that was around 1200$ a few years ago you only get about 30fps ish on low-medium settings. While this is playable low-medium settings do just look like plastic. I have played really long on these settings and i don't recommend it at all.
If you were to now buy a pc for 1400$ you will get 65fps average on high with still fps drops to nearly 45 sometimes in buildings. This is fine but compared to other games its really low for a new pc.

Gameplay:
This game always had glitches and will always keep them. For example me and my friends were cave hunting. We got a disease so we had to split (as the disease timer resets to 90 seconds when you are near each other which is just dumb...) When Borous died he had to respawn. He respawned anywhere on the map because it didn't matter. I (as a host) were in the cave so anyone that was outside the cave just teleports to me. (Outstanding development choices btw...). Because Borous now teleported to me my reset timer went back to 90 seconds, because logic?, which made me die. I had to respawn, luckily i had a bed outside the cave, and this made Borous teleport to me. (again resetting the timer back to 90 seconds so we both died). When we finally sorted this derp out we went back in the cave only to find out that our stuff fell through the map and we lost it all. With the repetitive farming this of course is really annoying and our otters we had on us to keep us warm also fell through the map and died.
This is just one of many stories that really get annoying after a while. Though if no glitches occur and you have good dinosaurs to farm the game is fun.

Creatures:
Just like Borous told the good dinosaurs are mostly seen in the trailers and everything looks fun but here are just a few animals that spawn nearly anywhere and are so annoying.

Pegomastax:
This is a small creature that walks up to you, steals any item from your inventory (even tech stuff) and then runs away. If you kill it you can get your stuff back so it isn't that big of a deal but overall just annoying. [spawns anywhere]

Ichthyornis:
Same deal with the Pegomastax except this thing can fly and if it steals from you there is NO way of getting it back. [spawns on nearly every coast area]

Kaprosuchus:
Looks a lot like a crocodile, they can both kick you off of dino's but this one also stuns you for ~7-8 seconds while he is literally eating you. This makes your whole armor set get destroyed or even gets you killed. [spawns in the swamp biome]

Micro-Raptor:
Very small animal that somehow also kicks you off dino's and again stuns you for 8 seconds. This results in the same as the Kaprosuchus. [spawns mostly in the redwood forest]

Raptor:
Kicks you off of dinos [spawns nearly everywhere]

Thylacoleo:
While this dino is fun to have when tamed its really annoying when you fly through the redwood forest. It can literally jump off trees just to kick you off of your bird. [spawns in the redwood forest]

And lets not forget the last thing, human flesh is the best meat in the game...
Every dinosaur that sees you will instantly go for you. Even 2 dino's that fight with each other will team just to kill you. This is really weird and annoying for a gameplay perspective.

Building:
Do sorta agree and disagree with this one.
While you are very limited with the textures and materials you can make some nice builds. This is only in pve though, as in pvp you will only see metal or stone boxes everywhere. I have uploaded a screenshot of my recent build, a tree house. Here you can see that you can decorate it but you will only see stone/wood houses or wood/thatch houses that look nice. This is of course very limited.
The building interaction did get a lot better in recent updates like the homestead update. And a update in which a new button keybind got added: Q and E, these make you swap between building places which only makes sense to you if you have the game.
These 2 updates made the building a lot better but there are still huge minus points for building: The more you build, the less fps you will get. For a medium sized house you get around 10-15fps less and for a larger house this can get to 20-25fps less. Especially foundations seem to lagg a lot but i don't know this for sure.



Conclusion:
While the game is nice for certain people it will never be worth the 60$. The maximum i would pay is 20-25$.
At the time of writing this the game only costs 11 euro (12.20$). With this in mind i do recommend this game, just please wait for a sale.

This game is awsome.
The story line is good, the world generation is good, there are almost no bugs, the game is replayable by so many times.

and the best thing of all, its only 10 euros!

You can tryhard this game but this game is more of a easy going man
yup. its not a scam
build and fight as long as you want. this game never stops being significant.
for the rest you just need to like this kind of content, if you dont. thats like a punishment!

this all for only 18 euros! and even with less with sales!
