Shadow Generations combines elements from Frontiers such as open-zone hub world and responsive controls with traditional linear level design from previous Sonic games. Resulting in probably the best 3D Sonic game I've ever played. The level designs are top notch, decently long without overstaying their welcome and make good use of Shadow's new Doom Powers. Shadow's story makes good use of his backstory and give him a closure on his past. Only bad thing I can say about this game is that I wished it was a bit longer and feature a level from Shadow the Hedgehog, but this game is well worth the money they're asking for.

Oh, and there's slightly remastered Sonic Generations included in the package, and it's still as good as it was 13 years ago.

Great
- Game being designed to make player enjoy cooperating with other players
- All classes are designed to complement each other very well
- Can be played alone if you want (Bosco my beloved)
- Variety of weapons and upgrades giving you multiple builds and playstyle
- Beginner friendly, Mission Control and the dwarves will guide you if you don't know how to play
- Dance of the Dreadnought
- The soundtrack
Good
- Procedurally generated level mean new caves every mission
- Variety of cosmetics items, no dwarf looks the same
- Variety of beers on Abyss Bar's menu
Bad
- Terrain collision can sometimes be wonky
- Procedural level generation mean sometimes objectives and minerals will be in ridiculous places (Nitra on roof 50 feet above the ground with nothing to stand underneath, liquid morkite well in a disconnected section of the cave, etc.)
- Some machine events can be hard to figure out
- OMEN Modular Exterminator
- Stingy management docking my pay for firing too many Fat Boys
- Management cheaping out on equipment and beers
- Mission Control's drop pod and nanite bomb accuracy ( Drop Pod - 260m)

9/10 -would die in elite deep dive again, Rock and Stone

Early Access Review
A fresh, yet faithful recreation of a timeless classic. Black Mesa recaptures the feels of the original while pushing the Source engine to its limits with improved graphics and gameplay.
