Gambling but you dont lose anything

Without jokes, the best game in the RE series, storytelling is great and the enemies are pretty scary from time to time. It did lose its charm for me around the end but its still worth it. Its a horror experience that you won`t get from any other game!

The game is really good, but also really short. The story is great and the environment is immersive, enemy encounters are lacklustre so dont expect an outlast type game here. The game is worth it if its on sale, otherwise look for something else. (I bought it for full price so thats why I put it as a negative review)

Chapter 1 + chapter 1 challenges review:

This game is currently getting some bad reviews for reasons I dont understand, so im gonna make a complete review about whats good about the game and what is bad about it!

What I completed:

I completed every challenge excluding the bonus parkour challenge but I did collect every collectable in chapter 1.

Good things in the game:

1. The 3 enemies currently in the game are all unique, have different gameplay features and have voice acting in the story mode

2. The game introduces all the things in a way thats understandable, I only felt a bit overwhelmed once but more of that is in the bad things section!

3. The story is great, not entirely sure if you need to play the first one but I did and the first one throwed me in the dark just as much as this one so I dont think so.

4. The challenges after you beat the first chapter are fun, they are kind of tied to chapter 1 so they are not that hard. (will probably get harder/more fun after chapter 2 comes out)

5. Sounds are good, music fits pretty well, only thing missing is a form of chase music but hearing footsteps behind you is good enough for now

Bad things in the game:

1. The first enemy you meet, Zardy, is a bit too fast, which makes the first encounter with him in the maze overwhelming, can also make one of the challenge maps a bit rng based (once Zardy has been balanced its no longer an issue)

2. Challenges dont mix multiple enemies in one section, it is not bad and will definitely happen in chapter 2 challenges (I hope). But its a bit dissapointing if you come from the first game Zardys maze. Challenges are still fun though and are also half of the experience, so definitely give them a go to get your money worth!

3. Pumpkin jack needs to be a bit harder in future challenges / chapters, he is fun to go against dont get me wrong, but once you know how he works it gets pretty easy to avoid him.

Why do people leave bad reviews of this game:

Currently people are leaving bad reviews because they probably expected it would be much like the first game zardys maze, harder and more fun challenges will definitely come in the future of this game!
Another reason is that the chapter system is much like other games that left a bad taste in the average gamers mouth, theres probably nothing to worry about the chapter system and the developer knows what fans want (probably)!

Future chapters will be released in form of DLC, dont know how to feel about that, but im fine with it as long as they dont put 3 hours worth of content behind another 10 dollars just like poppy playtime did.

Chapter 2 update when?

The most relaxing game 2.0. Jokes aside, great game, many features to keep finding new slimes and grow them with different ones for the coins to get upgrades to explore more to keep finding new slimes and grow them with different ones for the coins to get upgrades to explore more, repeat! Sounds boring I know but its not only relaxing, its also just fun to create the best optimal ranch for the coins! Many people say that you should buy 1 instead (which for some parts I agree on), but the new upgrade system makes exploring so much more fun and meaningful!

The randomly generating dungeons are pretty mundane, I had a situation where te entire dungeon was one big hallway, besides the game does not offer a big challenge you can save after every dungeon making dying not something to be scared about. Also, its not that scary, whenever I see a monster I just go: whats that? Only to just die. These are things because its extremely early acces so I might buy the game again after there are some content updates. The game does have many positives though, the immersion I have when driving the wagon seeing distant buildings along the way looking for point of interests to loot is awesome! Keep going!

Best experience of my life. Im not kidding if I say that I needed a game like this. If you like hectic levels, bosses and environments than this is a must have. The designs and music are also great.

Loved the music in this game, especially the ones that were released by monstercat, so this was a must have for me. Good songs!

It looks like one of those mobile unity games you can get for free, the first 10 minutes of the game were pretty funny and scary. After those 10 minutes I started to see the bad quality in the game more and more! The game has great potential though, so I hope the dev(s) will eventually fix somethings! Here are things to be fixed:

Number 1: When you hear the spot sound you do not know if its your friend being chased or you.
Number 2: Improve the ai, in the mines he literally passed by me and did not see me, this ai is great in the house though as in closed envirements it creates a stealth challenge!
Number 3: Work more on the ui, if I press tab I can barely read out the names.
Number 4: Improve shaders/lightning, the textures and assets are great, but it can use abit more shading or lightning.
Number 5: Add more characters, there are only 2 characters of the opposite gender, this is not a problem but its just quite annoying that you do not get a real choice if someone already chose.
Number 5: Make a more clear chase theme, the current chase theme is not clear enough to know if I am getting chased or not.
Number 6: An indicator to see how many lives you have left.

So many good features that I did not expect from this software, before I used soundpad but with noise-o-matic soundpad became obsolete.
