The dialogue and storylines convey a thin layer of choice, when the stories are all very linear.
The only way to have a different playthrough is by missing timed events.
Some of the decisions and fairly sudden options for endings are unbecoming of the rest of the writing and the player character basically always has to do the good and right thing and selflessly help everyone.

While this makes for an interesting narrative, it undermines the idea of making tough choices and facing consequences.

The art design of the game is solid and unique, and the soundtrack is the best thing about this title.

The AI for the workers breaks every time I want to play.
They just dont go to work anymore.
Please fix this, I want to actually play the game :(

Game doesn't even tell you how it works.

I can not recommend this Disco Elysium enough.
This is not just another "choices matter isometric RPG".
This is taking a long walk in a modern impressionist painting.
It is pain.
It is healing.
It is raw.
And a little bit funny.

Season ends in 3 days but they deleted my battlepass progress? HUH

Now that the game doesn't crash every five minutes anymore, it's back to being one of my favourites.

Good fun, a bit of a learning curve for the casual crowd though.

Great idea, beautifully executed.
There really is a whole new experience in this little game, reinterpreting old fantasy tropes and mixing them up.

Animation just became open to any person.

Also, the program is like 5 years unupdated. :D
