Ghostwire Tokyo

Ghostwire Tokyo is an adventure game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.
The game is set in a near-future Tokyo, where a mysterious phenomenon has caused 99% of the population to vanish. The player takes on the role of a paranormal investigator who must use their supernatural abilities to fight against the ghostly creatures that have invaded the city. The game features a first-person perspective and a combat system that allows the player to use hand gestures to cast spells and perform attacks. The game also incorporates elements of Japanese folklore and urban legends, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere. Ghostwire Tokyo is expected to be released for PlayStation 5, Steam and Game Pass.

The game felt like a light first person horror game.
It was not scarry Tho.
The setting and Japanese mythos more then make up for these games short cummings.
I did not complete the game 100%
But I did complete the campaign on medium difficulty.
Its not a hard game so I could probably complete it with ease at higher difficulties.

Pros:
Japanese mythos.
Sound and music.
The voice actors are awesome.
Setting is brilliant.
And the food looks awesome!

Cons:
This is not next gen graphics.
Gameplay is too repetitive.
Enemies has few variations.


The best part of the game?
When you can pet the dogs :D
And shop stuff from cats!

I have also tested The Ps5 and Xbox 1X editions.
It ran best on The PS5 so if you have a choice of console pick that one.
I preferred the pc edition.

I will give this a final score off:

7/10

It would probably rank a little lower if I was not a huge anime fan.
