If you're wondering whether you ought to purchase Outer Wilds, the answer is yes, it is worth EVERY penny. Especially if you're like me and you love space exploration, a gut-wrenchingly emotional story, and superbly atmospheric music.

TLDR: Worth it 13/10, leaves you craving for more.

Enthralling simplicity and visual style. Pretty great game mechanisms too, bugs and glitches aside.

9/10

Handles like a lego brick with plastic wheels. Walking is probably less infuriating lol

Ah, if only they fix the broken foliage in Layton. Anyway, it's pretty decent. A lot of lousy bugs and stuff but eh. Silver Ridge is about the only good map out there ;-;

Slightly glitchy now and then, but all in all a beautiful game with a well-crafted and stunningly morose ending. Also, top-notch voice acting, especially from Cissy Jones.

A stunning, spectacularly written one-sit wonder. "Beautiful" barely comes close to describing the absolutely bewitching graphical masterpiece — that is, the Great Outdoors — portrayed by the game. The storyline is simple, yet intriguing and not far-fetched at all. The plot is a peacefully gripping and nonetheless enthralling respite; an artful showcase of masterful raconteuring (regardless however oxymoronic it may seem).

It hooked me from start to end. Ended up going through the entire thing in one session. Definitely worth what I paid for it. A breathtaking visual story.

After the newest update, throwing two rods into the water automatically hangs the game.

Edit: fixed

Haunting storyline with a excellently-written and nonetheless unique plot. However, the gameplay control mechanics could be improved.

I had around USD$1500 worth of premium tanks. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs turned more than half of them obsolete and no longer premium, but "collectible", concurrently nerfing them. Disgustingly untrustworthy.

Beautiful graphics, really amazing art, well-thought puzzles.
I remember playing this more than 5 years ago... It's every bit as impressive as it was. A friend and I decided to download this game again, and boy, did it shine. The puzzles are fun, mind-boggling, and really difficult, even to me. Also requires a keen eye and quite the 20/20 vision, I've got mild protanopia and some of the color-based puzzles were torturously fun (haha). I'd suggest maybe a color-blind mode for people like me. Took me a total of about 5 hours (excluding my idle time) today to complete it.

Definitely recommended, a breathtaking puzzle adventure is always refreshing.

I'd recommend the addition of some graphics/display settings e.g. AA, resolution, DPI. And maybe a DLC for the soundtrack as well. ;)
