48 hours post launch and the game is unplayable due to server issues.
They had issues day 1, and they spent around 12 hours fixing the. Fair enough. Put out a statement saying everything was fixed. About 12 hours later, everything broke again, even worse. So either they lied and didn't fix anything the first time, or they genuinely thought they fixed it the first time around and didn't really fix anything.

Either way, 48 hours of your new game being unplayable is a big issue for them. I've seen comments saying the negative reviews are going to affect sales which is unfair.

No. What is going to affect sales is the fact that your game is unplayable, and no-one is going to fork out money for a game that they can't even play.

Embarrassing.

Absolute travesty of a game. The actual racing mechanics are serviceable. But Gameloft's approach to how to unlock everything and progress is disgusting.

TLDR: This game is absolutely terrible. Slow af unlocks, terrible decisions on how to unlock things, punishes players who didn't play from day 1, and well its way to the graveyard as a dead game. F2P will make all these issues even worse.

Let me be clear, if you didn't buy this game at launch and play consistently from launch, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. You will lag so far behind everyone else it wont even be worth trying. Considering how much stuff needs to be unlocked via timed leaderboards against other players, there's virtually no chance if you start playing now that you're gonna be able to compete with anyone.

Unlocking new things from boxes is a joke. Costs 10k seasonal coins per box, you get 3 items per box and more than likely you're gonna get 1 of each item. E.g. You might get 1 Mowgli shard (needs 10 for unlock) 1 Kaa Shard (needs 10 for an unlock) and 1 Baloo shard (needs 10 for unlock). Considering how long it takes to get 10k coins and just how many things there actually are to unlock, the chances of you unlocking ANYTHING are horrifically slim.

In short, even when this game goes f2p, don't bother wasting your time and bandwidth downloading this game. It's already on its way to the graveyard with its pathetically low steam player-base. Going f2p isn't going to fix that, more likely it will exasperate the issue with its predatory monetisation that you can bet is on its way.

Heard about the recent stuff wherein BHVR allow people to buy new skins that are blocked in their region (so they can't use them) and are not refunding them. Literal definition of a scam. Customer support basically said they refuse to refund them, so they're literally stealing money from people. Disgusting.

Absolutely hate it. The open world adds nothing to the game, could have been linear and honestly it would have been a much better game for it. Aside from copy and paste dungeons all over the place, there's nothing. A few overworld enemies sure, but why bother engaging them?

For the paltry amount of souls you'll get? I honestly feel like the open world aspect sucked all the fun out of this game. I have roughly 54 hours in the game so far, and probably about 5 of those I was having fun. The rest has been a boring snooze fest. Every soulsborne game is better than this one imo.

When is Left 4 dead 3? Seriously though, this game is the best of its genre by far.
