First of all, Wow! For someone has played The Forest, This game is so different in a good way, but also has that authentic Forest feel. The building has improved like crazy, being able to build more freely is wonderful. The graphics makes the game feel so much more immersive. From taking a wander in the forest, to deep dwelling in the caves. The tools and gadget are so easy to use and put a great spin to the game. The physics for tree felling is awesome, seeing each cut exactly where you hit. The new animations are exquisite! Oh and can't forget the pure adrenaline of decapitating a cannibal... Who doesn't like that?

The developers have done well, In my short time of playing through multiplayer I've only yet to encounter a few bugs. The game is very polished for being Early Access. However, even though the new tools are great to use and come in handy a lot, I feel the GPS is a little too good. Being able to see the caves and objective markers takes some difficulty away from the game. The Backpack upgrade is great but can feel a little clunky at times. Especially when you have been re-spawned with cannibals around, you have to either open up the quick menu or main backpack to re-equip your weapon/tool. This can be quite annoying. Although it's much nicer when teammates revive. If you were in combat there was no way for a teammate to revive you, It's a lot quicker and easier.

There seem to be no rafts as of yet which does suck, but not at all a terrible downside...

Kelvin is a great addition, almost feel bad for the poor fella, but great to catch some fish for food when you're desperate.

Overall; The cut scenes, animations, Graphics and physics have had a massive overhaul. This game feels well immersed and polished, I can confidently say I will have many hours playing to come.

Unfortunately I haven't finished the story as of yet so can't say to much about it, But I look forward to finishing it and adding it to the review.... Happy tree chopping and cannibal hunting...
