I'm allowed to do things in this game that I'm unable to in real life without social stigma. for example I can make and wear an apron out of human leather or wear a fancy top hat while carving stone into blocks.

This is the game for me that makes working from home difficult. Excellent game.

After playing this game I now understand that if traffic patterns and city planning had the anitomically correct parts I would marry it.

I got a gun that laughed at me when I shot with it, much like anyone else who wathes me play any FPS. Now I don't have to invite anyone over just to watch. A billion stars!

It is not my favorite Paradox game (that would be Victoria 2) but this is the one that I can sit down and have the most fun with. To better explain, in this game you play a dynasty, not a "country"; that means there is good opportunity to role play. You may be emperor one generation, but then your underlings revolt against your son and you are a lowly count that needs to work their way up the ladder again. With plenty of flavor events, and historical events, CKII is simply great. Note: not for everyone, but easily the most accessable Paradox game.

Check this out with the new expansion, it may have fixed the issues that you had with it at first. I loved it then and still love it.
