If you like this genre and ideally own steam deck, worth purchasing even in EA.

Game is ok and summarized already in reviews before mine. What I can't imagine is to play this on PC after regular work (programmer) ... Simply not happening. But on steam deck or console - yeah. I personally play this only on steam deck, so dunno how it works on pc

It has Diablo 2 feeling, but I'd preffer to have variable play time. 30 mins per run is quite a lot. I dislike this even for other alternative games out there. Why I can't choose time scaling by my own is simply bad design choice.

TLDR;
It has potential, but I requested a refund. It feels more like beta or EA.

The game itself really reminds me M&B and there were occasions I was like Wooohaaa man, this is cool. ... But sadly, it seems unpolished. I bought it with the idea that it may not have the best graphics and may even feel be clunky. But it was more than I expected. Within the first 30mins, I had to restart the game like 5 times. It just threw me out to the steam VR. No error, nothing.

After the tutorial in the game, I found few bugs - these were described by someone before me. Like I could trigger the command but just once. After that, I could not trigger the command menu again. I even don't recall what it was, maybe unit selection? The menu with action commands like moving was visible though.

IMO this game feels like a game for 14-16 dollars. I appreciate the work. I think it was developed by 1 developer? Somebody wrote it before in the reviews. But this can't be the argument for steep price & unpolished things like game audio - just some sounds weren't even there and it felt empty. I'd accept it with some clear roadmap of what will be changed/fixed/reimplemented. But somehow I can't see it. & there is a second game in EA that gave me the idea, this game is being considered as finished.

What I expected were Warband graphics and its game feeling. But not the bugs & obscurity. Honestly most of the time I felt like this is early access or beta.

Also a lot of reviews mention a B&S but I don't comprehend why. B&S has an unrivaled feeling when I have weapons in the hand. E.g. here, I did not feel any weight of the weapon at all. Therefore, I could with lvl 1 and cracked weapons fight with like 50+ soldiers and possibly destroy them all - it would take a lot of time, but I could do that. This is a mystery for me - because what is strength or stamina for? I could swing my axe like nothing all the time fast and furious.

I wanted M&B experience and it felt like it. But the game itself feels unfinished.

TLDR:
The best game I ever played regarding simulation & hacking generally. 10/10

I like how creative one can get regarding exploitation & automation of the task execution.
I mean I'm new in the game so I didn't try everything yet - but I was able to to make e.g. my own regex system.

Pretty hardcore for no IT guys though. Like tutorial hints are pretty original - hack the wifi of your neighbour. After that you are on your own. I think I'm a very good programmer-but I have like very limited knowledge of the hacking itself. I think I grasped the general flow from this game and learned thing or two too.

What you need to be aware before buying - it is alpha. There is ♥♥♥♥ ton of bugs. Like I reported 6 already? I mean 2 of theme were not bugs in the end, but take it into consideration. It is not very friendly to average consumer. If you are enthusiastic programmer or beginning script kiddie, you will be ok. If you do not know nothing regarding programming & linux - probably stay away from it?

What I didn't try is nightly builds - from what I understand, these contains a lot of new stuff - please correct me though if I'm wrong here.

Discord is strongly advised to get help if something doesn't work - it may be really bug and not your lack of knowledge.

I can't say anything bad about this game.
I mean nothing is perfect. But I enjoy this very much. Environment is big and very detailed. There is lot of enemies and everything is somehow dark and gloomy. This is what I missed in new Diablo or other Diablo-like games. I don't like colorful ♥♥♥♥. You are killing monsters and humans, it is not a gay pride event for **** sake.

---
Story is somehow ok. I mean it is good but I enjoyed other elements more. Some specific locations or events are more interesting, other are not. But combined together - you really have the feeling like it is end of the days and everything went COVID-19.

I love the books there. I really read the lore and most of the time it is quite interesting. One of the books/letters I found very very disturbing was about family on the run. These poor souls were getting more and more hungry and somehow got into cannibalism. The description of the events there was powering the atmosphere of the location and it got another dimension of gameplay. One of the many little good things in the game
---

The length of the gameplay is huge. Replayability is excellent! Support of gamepads is superb. When I tried a Diablo on PS it was super fun. Now I can have this feeling on PC.

---
I finished the base game with Ashes of Malmouth - I haven't started Forgotten Gods expansion yet. Check my hours and imagine the length. I'm the person who plays it for fun and enjoys locations. Not the type to make speedruns or solve a lot of combinations of powerups from different bosses to make best gear.

This is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong experience. I haven't finished the game yet because of limited time, but the little I spent I was amazed. It is worth every penny. (I got it via bundle probably though). I sincerely think this is one of the best VR experiences out there.

NOTE:
Great headphones are a must. I played it on Oculus Rift S and native controllers are supported even though steam overlay says something different.

It's short, but man .. it's good!
I had great time with this game, I felt amazed and the ending with little hints all over the place is very good. It is not meant to play with rush. U have to really look around and enjoy the presence. I'd say if u occasionally show vr games to other people, it is must buy (in a sale) ... I'd not pay full price for that. compare to other games - it is really more like a demo. But 10euro is quite ok price during sale.

Regarding perf:
I have 3900x with 5700xt and oculus rift s and I had no problems to have it maxed out in the menu. Graphics is great - probably best I saw in VR.

Let me start with this ... I'm not a simulator player of any kind(flight, building etc) - recently I played only Euro Truck and 90% of recorded time is from my Dad using my steam.

----- Review -----
Well ... how to put it ... It is really like Euro Truck Simulator but in space as few already wrote before me.

But!
It somehow manages to catch my attention. I don't have a spare time and I do not play a lot. But this game, it simply took an awfully lot time and I really enjoyed it. You see only recorded time but there is much more in it. Like reading wiki, reviews, advices, ship planning etc.

There is no "goal" in the game. Cos it is up to you. You may be a pirate, trader etc. Whatever you want. There are community goals but I did not participate in that. Simply I'm too new into this.

What I can say for sure is that if you are thinking about the buy - but somehow not sure because of the negative reviews - just wait for sale. I got This with season pass for like 10 bucks. It already paid for the fun I had like 10 times. Great + is that it is actively developed and has like super cool community. From what I understand every patch gains a lot of new content and stuff generally.

Some of the people say that it consume a time. Well it depends. What is your goal? To make a few mils to upgrade to a decent ship for a bounty hunting? Well, after the first 15+ hours of getting used to the steam controller + reading info your first mil will come pretty fast. After that it is matter of few hours to get 2+ mil ship. After that it progress in a similar way.

So no, I would say it is not so time consuming - but it again - it is up to you. That fighting ship could be fully upgraded with all engineering stuff possible and yes - that will require a lot of time. Not there yet myself but I would assume like 50+ hours for sure.

I think it is similar for other type of paths(trader, miner etc) .... but who said you have to have this stuff? I pretty much enjoys the game and I have like very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ early game ship - cobra MkIII something - I think? With a pretty decent customization.

Another very interesting thing is the community news. Like the game has its universe and news there where a ?weekly? summary is done. You can also play it in your cockpit. When I first tried it it felt pretty awesome. Flying in a ship for 4 mins listening to galaxy news and drinking coffee. Like real bounty hunter.

So, to sum it up. I'm really enjoying it. Not many games can make 30+ hours in my life. I think this one is capable to do 60-120+ range. After that I will probably revisit this review and add new notes. But for now - go for it(horizons+ only).

This game is hell of fun!
I bought it in a sale here (75 percent). I was not totally sure if this will be good game because most of the time, games based on serials/films are full of ♥♥♥♥.

Well, I'm glad that this is not the case. If you like South Park and its humor you will be pleased with this game.
Game is in its base very simple. One could say even minimalist. But these simple game mechanics like combat etc. are actually pretty well made. I like how authors represents the actual serial characters, environment and relationships among characters.

Simply said I have the feeling that I'm actually in the serial with cartman, stan etc... It's like a big funny playable episode. I can't say if this game is one of the games, you finish you will start with a new character and play again (probably not), but you will enjoy the first play veery much. Rating 8/10

This game is awesome. It has weaker community compared to warband, but it has it's own magic. The only thing I don't like is that you can't be king (when you seize city) but only marshal. This title can be obtained only by two different quests. Otherwise it's really good game.
