Legitimately one of the most rewarding shooters in years. After putting a couple of thousand hours into Escape from Tarkov, enjoying other "hardcore" shooters like GTFO and so on, I decided to give Hunt another go after putting it down a year or so ago due to a number of reasons. But now its easily one of my favourite games in the whole extraction genre. Would love to see more maps and monsters added but even as it stands - its a great game that deserves far more attention than it gets!

So far loving the game. Not experiencing issues like some of the other reviews (so I may just be lucky - but can only comment on my own experience) and while I don't l ike denuvo being in games, its hardly only Techland that does this so whatever - its not a reason to not get the game IMO. I'll update for a more full review when I've sunk more time into it - but so far, very happy and its a great sequel to the first game. The tutorial/prologue is a little lengthy (as with pretty much all techland games) but once you get into the open world, its great fun! If you like DL1, you'll likely love DL2.

A little rough around the edges, but overall a very enjoyable experience if you don't mind sometimes just quitting to desktop and restarting the game. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it for anyone who likes mining games!

I picked up this game around the time it originally launched into Early Access and after a few hours of dealing with some bad framerates, and a constant crash at the same point, I ended up just uninstalling it with the intent to revisit later after it had more time in the oven.

I then forgot all about it, until the other day when Steam told me it had released into 1.0. I had originally been super pumped about the game so I installed it and fired it up.

And then I could not stop playing it. I'm a huge fan of Shadow of the Colossus, and this feels like a loveletter to Team Ico's game and yet somehow still manages to do things in its own way and in some ways even elevate above SotC. Its incredibly rewarding to play, has really well designed mechanics, and is absolutely beautiful in everyway, from its gorgeous visual design to the phenomenal music. I'm absolutely amazed at how far the game came and could not recommend it more highly. I look forward to seeing what this dev does in the future, and to replaying Praey for the Gods many times over the rest of my life!

Its fun, but its sort of a bit generic in a lot of ways - that's good if you just want a new mmo to grind at. I tend to play it while watching youtube or listening to podcasts and its a good time :)

Early Access Review
I played the demo back when it came out and literally closed the demo after one run because I knew I was going to want the full title. Now the full game is out - definitely happy!

I see this as the other half of the experience that a game like FTL offers. Its like all the action and combat half of that, without the micromanagement of the crew/ship systems. If that sounds fun to you - I think you'll have a good time.

Overcrowd is one of those titles I saw on steam and instantly knew it was my jam. Ever since I first played RollerCoaster Tycoon back when it came out, I've loved these sorts of tycoon titles, and Overcrowd is easily up there with the best of them with its rewarding mix of creative expression and pedantic checklists to keep your angry commuters happy. The difficulty curve can feel pretty brutal at first, especially if you expand too much too soon, but once you learn to take your time and focus on many smaller changes, rather than vast sweeping ones, its the sort of game that will reward your patience.

My first few stations fell apart very quickly. When you make a mistake, things go from great to bad to worse to game over in what feels like seconds. Its a runaway snowball that if you don't get on top of soon, you're gonna be reloading an earlier save. Once I got the hang of the very early game, I decided to save up some cash and completely remodel my entire station - once again - snowball to game over haha. Overcrowd works much like these sorts of businesses do in real life - you can't just completely change your entire world over night. You need to slowly adjust and think about how this will impact your commuters and try to compensate.

Needless to say I'll be sinking a lot more time into this game in the coming days and weeks. Maybe I'll even get halfway decent at it! If you like tycoon games and aren't scared of a little challenge, then I'd strongly recommend picking this one up!

Disco Elysium is so very, very close to being one of the most memorable RPGs of all time... but as it stands I think it just falls slightly short sadly (time will tell for me)...

The game is wonderful, unique and absolutely gorgeous, but none of that is really the reason to play it - the reason to play is the writing. The writing is superb and incredibly well thought out (mostly). There's some difficult subject matter addressed, and personally I don't always feel like it is handled greatly, but for the most part I can't complain. I can't comment on what it was like playing this game before the Final Cut as I waited for that patch, but the voice acting is really good and appreciated in a game with so much text.

There's a bunch of small bugs, and a few ones that soft lock your game, so even the "Final Cut" needs some more work... but overall I think if you look at the trailers and you think you're gonna have a good time, its a game worth picking up!

Very enjoyable game clearly inspired by the older zelda titles, but far exceeding them imo. Has a great mix of adventure game and roguelike elements in a charming art style that will keep you coming back for "just one more run"!
