This game is almost 10 years old and even though they have announced a sequel, they are still adding new levels with more achievements regularly. It's a completionist's nightmare

Online heists forcing 4 players are a joke and having one person die or fail shouldn't ruin the entire mission for everyone else.

MultiVersus has fully released after the open beta in 2022 and the extensive downtime which followed it. While still flawed, MVS is an enjoyable fighting game with an ever-expanding cast of characters.

Pros:
- The premium currency Gleamium can be earned through events, character paths and the battle pass which makes it fairly easy to get, even without owning the battle pass. The new prestige currency earned from unlocking cosmetics, including from the battle pass or through events, gives players access to more premium cosmetics without having to spend money. Characters can be bought with either Gleamium or fighter currency, purchasing skin variants is optional and a few characters are part of the "free rotation" each week which lets you try out characters before deciding on which to purchase first.
- Focus on quality over quantity in terms of the roster of fighters available. Fighters feel very much unique and rewarding to play and master. The controls are easy to understand and learn for new fighters, in comparison to games such as Super Smash. Additionally, It is much harder to fall of the stage compared to those games.
- Fighters' attacks and hitboxes are often tweaked to make sure none of the fighters are unbalanced or overpowered.
- Fighting arenas feel varied and have unique mechanics accompanying them.

Cons:
- Rifts and events can be very grindy and may require a lot of skill/luck or help from friends to complete.
- Certain missions and rift levels require multiple tags to complete (such as fighter class/skin type + franchise), which limits which missions you can do if you don't have the "matrix version of Tom & Jerry" or the "Beach Ready version of Arya Stark".
- Fighter currency only unlocks perks for one character, not all at the same time.
- Perks are more limited and seem to be less impactful compared to the beta. Personally I haven't used the perk currency after 50+ hours due to the small selection of perks available.

While MultiVersus may be frustrating at times, it is a fun and challenging experience overall. As with a lot of games, the game is more fun with friends, where you can play either 2v2 with a friend or custom games both locally and online with up to 3 friends.

Stardew Valley has a lot more to it than what meets the eye at first glance. The game can be played as your typical chill farming/exploring game, or you can grind for resources and strive to unlock stuff quickly. The game has a lot of replayability, many different choices that affect the story in some way, and also a few options to change your path throughout. The game has been getting updates regularly since it came out, and is currently due to receive more content soon with the 1.6 update. The game has tons of early-, mid- and late-game content to unlock and experience, and I cannot recommend this game highly enough! So far I have only played it solo, but the game supports 4-player multiplayer (with 8-player multiplayer scheduled in the future). Pick it up if you are even remotely interested, this game gives you a lot of content for your money!

I picked up a few games from this franchise, this game included, because several people were talking highly of the series. My expectations were not inflated by this, I tried it out with an open mind. After experiencing several aspects of this game, I have started regretting bying multiple Yakuza games.

There's a stark contrast between what this game could have been and what it is; Some story quests feature full voice acting and fitting sound and visual effects, while the majority of the missions and street encounters are heavily text-reliant and feature stiff characters who only grunt or utter the occasional "Nani?!?". The semi-open world is very limited, and often features only a few linear paths with little room for exploration. This world includes many components which attempt to bring the world to life, but it still suffers from limitations, repeated events such as street thugs on every other corner which gets old fast, and a confusing map system. My biggest gripe with the gameplay is that the game does not tell you what to do or where to go half of the time, which leads to confusion and the need to consult guides and walkthroughs online. Many aspects of the game feel like they were limited or cut due to budget reasons, and the player experience suffers as a result. The only highlights from my 10 hours of playing were the dance mini games and the combat which was somewhat decent and varied.

I would recommend making your own critical assessment of this game before trying it out - It's very highly spoken of by some, but may not be for everyone. The disappointment of this first Yakuza game and the tedious gameplay has not left me wanting more of the series.

Early Access Review
Valheim is a rich sandbox game which is just as great to play alone as with friends. The game has a lot to explore and has a big roadmap of updates planned. I can't wait to revisit this game once I have time to experience it again!
