Don't let the simple graphics fool you, this game contains all the bells and whistles of a serious sim racer adapted perfectly into a Virtua Racing inspired racer. Surprisingly fun and addictive.

The AI can be a bit annoying and unpredictable at times but it has no noticeable rubberbanding which is very welcome.

Boy oh boy, an action adventure fused with RPG and farming elements just like Rune Factory but the characters are cute animals? Sign me right up! Except it's a game with not much depth that loves wasting your time for little to no reward...

The game is decent for the amount of content at that scale but It's not about the lack of content, it's the grinding man... The first quest you're tasked with collecting 30x wood and 30x stone, seems simple, except that wood/rock nodes don't respawn so you're wasting a lot of time and ingame days to get them. That's how 95% of quests (and crafting equipment) go, you're tasked with getting 10/20/30/50 of a specific item, which means killing about 30~60 monsters of that type.
The world is also littered with tiered chests that need a key to unlock, how do you get a key? By crafting 10 ironstones (only dropped by a specific monster, not guaranteed) and 3 bars of the respective metal. What do you get for your effort? More often than not, 5 bars of metal.

There's also the farming aspect which has no depth at all, you buy seeds, plant them, water every day, harvest after 2~5 days. Don't expect mechanics like in Stardew Valley here.

If you want a CRPG with farming get the good ol' reliable Rune Factory. If farming is more your thing, Stardew Valley. If you like CRPGs with simple mechanics, I can't recommend Fantasy Life for the 3DS enough.

Game is very well presented with lots of charm but admittedly has the quality of a mobile game (and priced accordingly so at 2$ on sale). As a long time racing game player, I'd say it's not a bad purchase at all and it's even a better value than most AAA garbage coming out. Honestly? I'd love to see a proper racing game with these gacha mechanics or at least one with its issues ironed out.

Despite being a "gacha" game it's not at all grindy or difficult once you learn how the driving model is, how stats work (high top speed + low drift = ez wins), and do fusion with parts that have a unique highest stat so it's not a dice roll.

The ugly:
- Luck can definitely screw you over, but I had no issues in carrying my E class rolls up to B class
- The dirt roads just reduce your top speed stat by about 25 points or so, there's no loss of grip or vehicle type advantages
- Collisions are stupid simple and a bit frustrating because:
- AI has no logic as it just follows a line, even if you are in the way
- Vehicle types mean nothing, there isn't even type restricted races
- Engine sound is sometimes glitchy
- The way the camera is set up can be a bit disorienting, set it to Wide and Very Far

It has a Daihatsu Midget II and that alone makes it the best Arc System Works game don't @ me

While it captures all the vibes from 90s arcade racers the atrocious rubberband and AI constantly crashing into you makes it a frustrating and unpleasant experience

"Oh but it has online!" The online is more dead than my hopes for the racing genre

28€ game with lookboxes and microtransactions for 6€ a pop on average. On top of that the game is about to receive paid DLC weapons (sold individually) that won't be just reskins
