10/10, reminds me of how I felt playing the R&C games on my PS2 & PS3 in my youth. If you played the other Ratchet & Clank games like me, you're going to love this. Not much else needs to be said.

Having a PS5 controller is recommended for the full experience (haptics), but any controller will do.
Keyboard & mouse works fine too, but is not the way it was intended to be played - and you can tell.

Be careful with this game, it's a terrible PC port. I'm going to list some fixes if the game isn't working properly for you before moving on to short summary of my main gripes with this game.
  • To prevent crashing, you need to enable Steam's Big Picture mod and start the game from there.
  • If you don't have any sound, you need to install DirectX (Jun2010 and newer should work), since it's not included in the Steam version for some reason.
  • Regarding the audio quality, set your speakers to 16 bit 48000Hz (DVD Quality) or the audio quality is going to be garbage.
  • The PvP versus mode is broken on PC. Only one controller will be recognized at any time. If you're buying this for the coop fights, don't bother.

The story mode itself is a little grindy, since you need to complete side missions to actually advance in the story. The quicktime events are garbage in this port, the time to hit the buttons seems almost halved in comparison to the 30 fps console versions. I suspect that the 60 fps of the port are somehow related. In versus mode, there's an option to change the quicktime events to simple button mashing, an option which is missing in the story mode for some reason.

In short, don't get this game unless you're a fan of the manga/anime.

Absolute cash grab, don't waste your money on this. Ugly looking guns and crappy RPG mechanics. All four dialogue options can be summed up to "Yes", "No (Yes)", "Maybe (Yes)" and "Why? (also Yes)". One of the devs even confirmed that this was intentional because he hated 'having to think' and dialogue in general when it comes to video games.

Every Bethesda title gets dumber with each iteration. This game doesn't deserve the 'Fallout' name. Wait until there's a GOTY edition that costs $20 or less.

When a game requires community-made mods to make it enjoyable, it isn't worth your time.

One of the best FPS games ever made, made even better through the Source 2 engine upgrade.
However, it currently has no anti-cheat outside of third party services such as FACEIT.

Until Valve fixes this, I wouldn't recommend spending too much time on it. Manual monthly ban-waves aren't good enough when they promised us a working AI-powered cheat detection that can instantly cancel a match. If you leave a match that has a cheater in it, you get punished for it with a matchmaking cooldown.

Sadly, cheaters currently exist in all ranks and gamemodes and aren't exclusive to just high-elo premier games. Even regular competitive (non-premier) games have those pathetic spinbotters now.
