I've got over 200 hours in this game but I wouldn't blanketly recommend this game to anyone.

The game is definitly not in a finished state. Things are missing from general bug fixes to simple functionalities you'd expect in the game.

I would put this game in the same catagory as Skyrim. If you like prodding around with mods to make it the game you want, and you like these types of games. Then I would recommend the game to you.

But unlike skyrim, this game has minor updates every once in a while that break most mods. It's really frustrating. Every time i come back to play it, its always a days worth of hassle to get this game in to shape.

The Game Devs communication regarding the games state is also very lackluster, so my faith in this becoming a game I could recommend to the average gamer is not high.

Buy are your own risk.

I'd recommend it, but you might want to wait untill its out of early acces.

I'd recommend this game if you have an intressed in space flight, flight or rockets. The game is very modable, so if you do not like a certain aspect, you can change it.

However, the game is not bug free. Which is honestly a shame for how old it is. Though, a big part of it is because its old and an ''indie'' title.

It's fast, Its hard, and its a lot of fun!

Its a great game for racing against your friends. And if you dont have any, play online or let the AI give you a good challenge!

Tl:DR - Give Stage 2 a chance.

Since the game is free to play, It has been great.

Obviouslly there are plenty of balancing issues in these types of games, but they update the game steadly and communcaite with the community. Buffs and nerfs seem on point. And non of the monsters or charachters are completly broken.

So why the mixed reviews, The game as had a lot of hate from ''founder'' players (Stage 1 players), because its diffrent, or they didn't get enough free stuff. So they got an additional bunch of free stuff. Still around 200k worth of keys that a new player would take ages to grid but oke...

If you are on the fence, try the game. Its free it takes an hour or two to know if you really do or don't like it.

Give it a chance.

The game has quite a bit of optimisation issues and overall, just isn't as good as other tower defense games.

Its full of hackers and the new micro transactions don't help when the Devs have done nothing to improve the core game.
