I immediately knew that Hollowbody was a game made with people like me in mind. The obvious inspiration comes from PS2-era horror games like Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 4, but there's more subtle inspiration that feels like it draws from movies that I love, like 28 Days Later and Blade Runner. I've loved every moment of the 90s-style video game revival that we've had for the past few years, but I'm even more excited to see this as-of-yet fairly underrepresented 2000s revival. The dream of 2004 is alive, it's well, and if Hollowbody is any indication, it's going to go far.

I'm only an hour in, but I know I'll be spending more time with this game as soon as I can. Also, this was all made by ONE PERSON?! Buy it, love it, and tell all your friends about this one.

One of the best throwback-style first-person shooters on the market right now. It nails an almost Resident Evil 4/Silent Hill-type aesthetic and is an absolute blast (TNT pun intended) to play.
