Graphical hiccups from time to time and got stuck in a wall once, but story is solid and gameplay is focused on realism so combat can be punishing to a run-and-gun playstyle.

i HAVE LOVED THIS GAME CONCEPT SINCE THE ORIGINAL. dESPITE THE BOTS, SPAMMERS AND RAMPANT CHEATING, IT STILL REMAINS ON OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES.

It's not the prettiest or smoothest game, particularly if you are use to modern AAA titles. That said, the world building is phenomenal and the later games jump in visual and mechanical quality quite quickly.

This isn't a long game, but it is very well written.
My only hope for a sequel would be a bit more effort put into combat mechanics. Having a single weapon and being trained to NOT use it for fear of running out of ammo made it quite jarring and difficult when you were suddenly being forced to use it regularly followed shortly by a boss fight that utilized a mechanic that you never really practiced outside of the tutorial.

I wanted a game similar to the old HalfLife games and found this one recomended on a list of "oldschool shooter" style games. It is by no means a masterpiece, but it is still fun to play.

A very unique and complex team strategy game.
Your loadout is highly customizable to best suit your play style.
There are entirely different combat mechanics and physics in the digital world as opposed to the physical world.
It is great for a challengeing, but fun, multiplyer experience.
