This is by far the worst souls games and propably the worst fromsoft game. If any other developer made this game it would have been deemed as trash but because its from soft it gets a pass. Now its not all bad, it has its moments but the majority is a frustrating experience completly different to all the other From games.

First the possitive since there are only a few. Majula is best thing this game has to offer, relaxing music and a nice hub all together, there are also 2-3 more areas that are nice. The story is good and a nice introduction to a new third ending different to the two you get at ds1.

Now the bad, oh buy there are alot but i am gonna just mention them and not go into much details about them.
1)First the music, compared to the other games the music sucks(other than majula theme) i cant remember a single song from this ost maybe because boss fights ended so fast that you didnt get to listen to the whole song.
2) Dead zones in the movement (just why?) making for awkward movement.
3) Slowest Estus flask, might as well not use it mid combact since it takes 2.8sec to start the healing process and its really slow even after it starts healing. Plus it locks you in animation and in place, so its basicly i suicide button. Might as well use only the other healing items.
4) Bosses are extremly easy with most of them having 2-3 attacks that allow you to force the boss into a loop between them. Force attack pattern 1, hit them 2-3 times go back so he can attack with pattern 2 then wait for pattern 1 again, dodge and hit them 2-3 times and repeat. Every boss is the same and none of them have any phases that actually change anything.
5) On the other hand areas are brutal with a lot of enemies that dont allow you to run past them and will gank up on you. Forcing you to take your time. Also its trade city in most of the areas you are bound to get hit so might as well trade hits. You are gonna die a lot in those areas only to first try every boss.
6) Now one reason for bosses being easy is the life pools, upgrades and lvls. You are almost constantly overlvled since you get a lot of souls, the bosses lifepools are really small and your get a max weapon super fast. Making every boss a joke.
7) Areas are linear making you run from A to B(mostly a striaght line) and fight everything. Also forget about short cuts since there almost none.
8)Running back to the boss is a pain. DLC bosses are the main culprit for this one since you dont kill them as easily as the base game bosses band also they made on purpose the run distance terrible. Just look at the run for the two Pets in ivory king dlc.
9) Adaptability, a stat about i-frames, your roll sucks you will get hits by attacks that you thought you had timed perfectly. Thats because of the adaptability, also the game doesnt even mention it at all. To this day people dont know what exactly else it affects.
10)Hitboxes, you get sekiro with the perfect hit boxes and then you get this, grab attacks that you dodged only to teleport in their hand or spears nowhere near you that actually hit you. A mess
11) Minor, but the graphics look worse than DS1 for some reason.
13) NPC stories suck in this one
12) Quest lines forcing you to summon people making already easy bosses easier.
13)100% the game forces you to get to NG++ to get some spells that i really dont get why you dont have access to sooner.
14) Farming 50 Loyce Souls with low drop rate, Just WHY? Locking a cool weapon behind a boring farm like that.
15) Covenant offline farms with extremly low drop/spawn rates. again why make this hard, its not like you can get that 1 spell that steamroll the rest of the game.

Thats all i can think of right now. Overall this game is not terrible but its not good either. Having a Dark Souls game have basicly 1-2 cool bosses is a shame. The devs designed the areas to make the game hard just for the sake of making it hard, there is no thought process behind it just spam enemies in tight pathways. They improved it a bit with the DLC areas but there they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bosses, making them boss runs terrible. Also the boss repeats of the base game bosses ,with minor changes to make them cheaper, is a joke to be honest. The main DLC bosses are ok but fall for the same 3-4 attack pattern. The only cool one is Sinh.

Just play any other Souls game for a better and more fun experience, if you want to 100% this then good luck, you gonna need it

This is a mediocre game the definition of a 5 out 10. But since steam doesnt have have that option i would go with a negative. So many things are wrong with the game but i will focus only on the main issues.

There is no story, there is just a setting and some names. I would guess that they had no writer in the team and if they did he was a bad one. There is just the concept. They didnt explore the characters and their motives they placed them labels so you can differantiate among them. You learn nothing about the paranormal effects of the island but you learn about the history of island and that only superficial.

The gameplay i mean there is no reason for you to go stealth or try to figure out interesting ways to kill vissionaries because it doesnt matter. Its like poor mans hitman. On top of that the AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.

There are bugs too, upgrades disappearing for no reason only to appear next loop. Achievments being basicly a random % if they gonna unlock or not even tho you do them correctly. Like come the ♥♥♥♥ on.

In general such a disappoint ment, just go play Prey or Dishonored if you want something similar. This is a disappointment especialy coming from Prey. The DLC from prey alone does what deathloop tries to achiev much much better

One of the best games i have ever played and Arthur is for sure the most well written character in any videogame. Runs way better compared to release and even after 5 years from the PC release it can still go toe to toe with any new game release.

A solid experience for the asking price. The main focus of the game is the concept and the story. It really is a cool concept and for 3 people to have created it, its pretty good. Does it have a few issues and could have been executed better? Sure but its not something that should stop you from trying the game out. Give it a try its a good experience.

P.S: A few complains for what could have been better, it will contain a few spoilers. A bit more puzzle focused you will eventualy finish the game just by walking around, it would hurt to be able to get leads or info from random discussions that happen once a day in different parts of the city. For example you hear at the start near the market that someone wants a bow, cool now you know he wants that but even if you didnt hear it the moment you get the bow the guy basicly chases you to ask you about it. Why? I just wish it was a bit harder.

Also i would have hoped for an ending that was actually just making the perfect city. but oh well.

Great game that captures the grim feeling of the warhammer 40k. The guns are numerous and feel great, you also fight various enemies that require differnt tactics to beat. Its about 17 hours to beat on the hardest difficulty and it takes around 22h to 100%. Also the pixel graphics work well. Worth picking up for sure.

P.S. my only issue is that it caused me motion sickness, even with head bob lowered.

One of the better Soul like games other there. Nice setting and designs cool music and presentation and an interesting story and world, with an interesting and suprising twist at the end. I think the best part of the game is the enviromental puzzles and revisiting areas ,when you have every tool, to gather every treasure. The weakest for me is definitly the combat. Its just weak, all the weapons feel the same since they have basicly the same or similar attack range / attack speed, with the same animation. And on top of that they are the worst, i had an easier time doing the umbrella achievement( use only the umbrella, so basicly go full magic attacks) because masgic has more variety and is stronger. Not that the magic attacks dont have issues too, fireball is by far the best attack skill for example.

Overall its a great game not too long not too short, definitly worth picking up

Lets start by saying that i am glad they release more content for this awesome game. After finishing the base game the only thing i could think was, i wish there was more content. I think this is an awesome formula and i hope they keep using either for more dlc or a completly new game.

Now lets get into the DLC review. The dlc consists of 3 new chapters , which will take most people 2-3 hours to b eat. The first chapter is more of the same (similar to the early missions of the base game, one room only) its good and feels good too but you gonna finish it quicly. Tthe second chapter is a bit more unique exploring new ideas(riddles) and i think its the peak of the dlc. Its feels long enough and feels good when you finish it. The third and last chapter is the weakest in my opinion simply because its not challenging enough. The reason is not as challenging as the other 2 chapters is because it doesnt use the enviroment or events that happen in this chapter. It asks you to write what happened in the chapters before which you already have knowledge for. You only have 2 questions to answer other than that and they are way too easy to figure out or answer.

Also i want to also say that there is a banger track playing throughout the dlc which is awesome and added it to play spotify playlist, I whish they had the base game sound track too on Spotify.

Overall i have to say that this is a good attempt for a dlc and the asking price is ok for wha it offers. Personaly i just wish it was longer because i just love this type of game so much.

So this collections consists of Uncharted 4 and its dlc, i would say its a good experience and a fun adventure. I wont go in more details about what works and instead will focus on what doesnt work. So my overall opinion for the games is a worthy experience to play.

Now for me the worst thing about both the base game and the dlc is the gunfights. The are just extra padding to increase the total playtime while aslo adding variety to an otherwise ,limited gameplay, experience. They dont feel good they are not fun and i am glade they are reduced ecnounters compared to the previous games. There is also stealth which doesnt feel that good either but its still better. I also played on the hard difficulty and i have to say that its just dumb. You have enemies getting shot or jumping gaps while also aiming with 1 hand straight at you and somehow every shot connects. In my opinion just ditch the whole gunplay on future games.

This negative is only for completionist, the game has terrible achievements and collectible system. You have no indication(until the dlc) to show if you are near a collectible so either you spend all your time searching everthing or you just say ♥♥♥♥ it and only collect what you come across. On the dlc there is also some annoying collectable dialogues and photos. The photos on the linear part are fine but on the open world are just terrible there is no way to tell what the devs consider a good photo spot or not so you just cant find them other than following a guide or being lucky. The dialogues are fine too but becareful because if you happen to do an action while the prompt appears you might lose it completly.

And finaly the worse for both the dlc and the base game ,slight spoilers, is Nadine. She is just terrible, and an annoying character during the base game that they then try to redeem during the dlc only to fail. For starters she is shallow during the base game basicly only appearing to make bad decisions and beat your ass because she is badass(something that the rest of the cast have to mention during the game). Somehow she is impossible to defeat on hand to hand combat but everyone working under her is just some random dure with no combat experience at all, no wonder she drove the mercenery company she had to the ground. So since she offered nothin to the base game and she could be easily removed and nothing would change they decided to add her to the dlc for allowing them to use her for future games. Well is just as annoying and stupid during the dlc too, thank god for Chloe and her charisma. She is a moving contradiction to herself, one moment she would say 1 thing only for the next to say the opposite. She is rush with her decisions and just overall a bad person. We are supposed to forget that she worked for the worst people during her mercenary years. But once again the cast around her is saying how badass she is and we should like her for some reason. Also she is nerfed, she could handle nathan and sam during the base game at the same time but now along with chloe she couldnt handle asav until the end of the game were they somehow overpower him. Honestly she is just a mess of writing inconsistances and shouldnt be in the base game. She is needed at the dlc to engage in dialogue with chloe but i would take sam over her anytime. I get what they wanted to create but they failed.

Awesome game and its great for playing on steam deck, it feels like it was made for that platform and on top of that it doesnt even consume that much of the battery. But be warned that its an insanly hard game to play. All you have to do is take a look at the achievement % clearance. Anyway the game is fun tho and you find yourself in a loop constantly saying this is the last run while clearly it wont be.
