This game feels more like Armored Core 3 than the later ones. Which is great, because 3 and Silent Line were probably the best.

Pro tip for beating the helicopter: Stay below it as much as possible. It can't aim down. Otherwise strafe to the side and slightly forward to dodge the missiles.

Pro tip for beating the big tank thing: Stay above it as much as possible. It can't aim up. It also can't blow you up with mines or slam into you if you're above it. Take a high shock weapon.
