Insane amount of DLC and finicky gamemodes keeps this game from being truly enjoyable.

I went into the game thinking I would learn about the construction and mechanisms of various styles of firearms, only to discover that you have to unlock the guns in an arbitrary order. To earn the XP, the game requires you to complete gamemodes in which you need to know the gun enough to disassemble it without help and in the correct order. That wouldn't be an issue if the order actually made sense. The game failed me numerous times in these gamemodes for attempting to attach parts that would have gone on totally fine in real life. (ie: removing the rear sight on a 1911 before taking off the entire slide)

These things have kept me from enjoying the game and consequently buying models of my favourite firearms.

A fantastically solid-feeling arcade shooter that rewards quick reaction times and a steady hand. Even this early in development the game feels responsive and balanced. The developer has demonstrated time and again during the early indev stages that he is active, passionate, and willing to listen. Here's a game to follow closely!
