If you want a game with a PvE mode that doesn't cost $250, then this game is for you.

Contender for Game of the Year.

This remake does the original justice. Not an entirely 1:1 remake but they improved it so much over the original. I can see myself being hooked on this for a while :D

Probably one of the best story based games I have ever played. Twists at every turn, the card game aspect is interesting.

Don't watch any let's plays or read any reviews - Go play it blind. You will be blown away!

Not fun solo. People are incredibly toxic and racist in voice chat.

Okay, changing my review to negative until they decide to ACTUALLY UPDATE THE GAME.

The devs of this game hyped it up so much during release and through Christmas. Since then, no updates or anything from the devs.

The same old levels over and over again get tedious very quickly. I've completed all rundown levels at least 3 times each, I haven't played since.

Don't get me wrong - It's a great game. It's a fun, dark co-op shooter. Great with friends and they nail the atmosphere of the game.

Right now - Don't buy the game unless it's on sale like I did when it was like 15% off or something. Perhaps when they update this game again, I'll get back into it and see what's what. Until then, I'm not touching it (I haven't done since the new year began).

Oh my lord. Patch 6.1.0. was supposed to be the biggest balance change yet, but they've just made balancing 10x worse than before.

Nerfed 2/3 survivor perks, great, what does that do for killers when they go against a 4 man sweat squad with Off the Record (buffed + most overloaded perk in the game)?

Super nerfed most of the good killer perks which gave killers a chance, supposed to have buffed gen/pallet/wall kicking, cooldown on basic attacks, 2.5% instant regression when you kick a gen, various other small buffs on other killer perks etc. literally made no difference. As someone who has put a majority of 3k hours into killer, who pressures gens constantly, it feels no different than before.

6.1.0 is by far the most unbalanced of "balance" changes, it works in the favour of 4 man SWFs, possibly solo survivors, but it does nothing for killers.

Buy the game if you really want to play survivor and have the easiest games of your life, don't buy it if you'd rather be doing the killing. It's an absolute joke of a game.

I used to play this for ages, years ago. When I saw that this became F2P, I actually thought that I could play this to the fullest again.

What do I see when I log in? "Hey guys, you get your usual frigates for free. Wanna use your hard earned Battleship? Give us money".

CCP - You done effed up. I'm not spending £9.99 a month to gain full access to the game. You may as well have kept EVE as a P2P game.

The game itself is great, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth £9.99 for how long it takes you to achieve an actual foothold in the game.

EDIT: Just to point out, I'm in no way slating the game. It's a fantastic game if you have the patience and money for it. But The F2P - P2P concept is a no no for me. If you want to make a game F2P, give access to all content. Not restrict it to the basics of the game.
