This game is close to being one of the best star wars experiences ever. As the leader of the Delta squad you command 3 other clones who follow your every rule even if it is "out of protocol" as they put it.

As an fps experience it ain't far away from what we are used to nowadays.
The more strategic elements make this feel like you really are in the shoes of a clone squad commander.
The lore wasn't really expanded but why would they when S.W. already has so much of it to work with? and work with it they did!
Interactions between the clones made the characters feel more genuine.

As it normally is with these old games, it is a little janky and glitchy, and the A.I. is a little more A than I, but I never encountered anything game breaking apart from the occasional squad mate getting stuck in geometry (only fixable by loading a save as far as I can tell). But that could easily be a matter of the game not being optimized for current hardware.

Now the only real problem this game has (and was a conscious decision in part of the game developers) is that there is a LOT of waiting; waiting to be revived, waiting to stand up after being revived, waiting for doors to be opened, waiting for explosives to be set, waiting for consoles to be hacked, waiting for you troup to stop doing an animation... and probably more that I forgot.
The saving grace is that while the objectives are specific, you have the liberty to decide how most things are done, really helping the emercion aspect.

I'm not gonna tell you this is the best game in existence, if you aren't a star wars fan then you might not even care for it, but if you like star wars, and enjoy trying new things, then this game is an easy recommendation.

This game has such cool ideas and I had so much fun with it, that is just now I realice how much i need in my life a Star Wars multy player game in the style of Payday 2 or GTFO. So yea… Get on it Disney!!
