This game started out as a rough gem, but a gem none the less. It has developed way beyond what the creators thought possible all thanks to the modding community. Modders breathed new life into a already good game, and smoothed out the rough edges of past mistakes that haunted the original vanilla game.

There is so much content in the vanilla game if you include all dlc. It fills up your time, but if you want more greatness go look into the mods made for Oblivion. Skyrim just cant replace such an epic experience such as this!!!

P.S. Morrowind is better, shhh don't tell anyone.
