Balances between your energy levels, and it's not like certain games where you can pretty much stay up for 24 hours a day doing farm related stuff: Your character will automatically collapse due to exhaustion at 02:00. Reminded me a lot of a certain SIMS game on the Nintendo DS, but a bit better.
