Great game with a wide variety of heroes. The game definitely needs some more maps as currently the line up can get quite repetitive but with the rate the devs are pumping out content I have no doubt that won't be a problem for much longer. Really fun as a casual game and definitely has a lot of promise in competitive too if they keep addressing balance concerns and maybe add some sort of placement system.

Shadow generations is a step up from sonic generations in every way. Level design is much better being more open, longer and harder to S rank consistently. Boss fights are also better and feature hard mode variations. Shadow also controls significantly better than sonic which I actually think is great but they haven't updated sonic's movement in this remaster so all the sonic levels still feel bad to play imo. If shadow generations was it's own standalone experience I'd recommend this wholeheartedly but as it stands now I think waiting for this to be discounted makes the most sense.

fun, addictive, works well on the steam deck. Wish there was more build variety and cooler weapons. Main thing the game needs imo is more unique bosses as currently they're very repetitive. considering its early access u get a lot of value here for a genuinely great game

Behold something incredible!

Making an already great game even better. A DLC the size of an entire game with a whole new area to explore which while relatively small compared to the base game just in terms of sheer size, the level of verticality here makes the actual playable area deceptively large. I'd argue the legacy dungeons here are better than the base game with beautiful unique designs. The new weapons are fun to use while not being overpowered or rendering previous weapons useless. Well worth the money and genuinely one of the greatest games I've ever played.

My only two complaints really are that:
- There are just too many dragons here to the point where the fights become boring and repetitive. One area in particular has 3 dragon fights back to back, followed by a lichdragon in quick succession which makes sense in terms of world building but gameplay wise I just didn't find particularly fun.
- Difficulty is just all over the place. Contrary to what others are saying here I think the greater bosses are quite well balanced and are harder than the base game for the most part but aren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and are quite fun to fight. The bosses in caves though and the ones you find just roaming around are mostly just quite easy in my opinion. I personally wish the difficulty was a little harder to be more engaging

Honestly prefer this to portal 2. Brilliant game. The only thing I will say is performance on steam deck leaves a lot to be desired, the game frequently crashes and for some reason doesn't appear to have functioning cloud saves so it's not as if I can just pick up where I left off on my PC

Doesn't run great but I'm not experiencing frame drops it's more just consistently low which I find more manageable. It's really not in the unplayable range either and actually better than I expected it to be (I'm running a 3070Ti and found it to be noticeable but nothing that would make me want to stop playing.

As for the game itself, I like the puzzles here more than the base game itself.

I normally don't like more relaxed and chill games like this but have been finding this really fun, Finding it fun going for low scores and some levels with hydraulics really hurt my brain
