You know when people say "Oh just remake such and such game"

This is what they mean.
TXR25 is quite literally a PS2 game that runs on UE5.

I have two main complaints.

1) The livery editor is still somewhat barebones, I'd love to be able to recolor some of the vinyls that are multi-colored, some shapes are still very big even when they're at their smallest and some of the different vinyls dont line up when you're trying to make a livery.

2) Some of the menus look like they should be able to be grabbed and scrolled with, but they're not. They should be and I hope Genki can fix that issue.

As for wishes for further improvements.

1) Let us remove rear wings from the cars.

2) More wheel options.

3) I'd love to see turf war from Street Supremacy return.

4) Adding your current BP to the HUD while you're on the course, like with CP.

I bought the deluxe game on release. why isn't this included for me? Also pay-to-win cars, ew.

Original thoughts:
Cars don't handle very good, either understeering often or being extremely snappy if you try to correct a slide.
21/09/24 Revision:
This seems to have been fixed to a certain extent. Cars are now more controllable as a whole, but if you're doing grip racing you best be prepared to fork out for Racing+ Tires.

Progression is awfully slow, I've spent 5 hours and fully completed two clubs and I've barely managed to scratch level 6.
21/09/24 Revision:
This has been majorly improved. Races reward more XP now and leveling up isn't such a slog.
HOWEVER, they have revamped the unlocks WITHOUT fixing the level up reward graphics, so the information you're told when you level up is incorrect.

Original thoughts:
Some races demand that you never make a mistake unless you want to come in last, get paid 300cr and have to restart.
21/09/24 revision:
This has been improved to some extent, I don't experience getting absolutely shafted in races anymore, but collision does favor AI opponents, so they can still bully you if they want to.

AI voice lines and art. Ew.

21/09/24 Additon:
Remove or improve SC payouts, the grind for those parts is absurd, especially when you only earn 3SC per Elite Race no matter how many cars you have assigned to a club and you're stuck on a 15 min cooldown for each of those races. Assigning more cars doesn't give you individual races either, so this mechanic either seems pointless or broken.

Big mechs, big galaxy, big money.

Game good. Game dirt cheap, even when on standard price.

Go get, go go go.

If you want more indepth thoughts, the mech controls are a bit funky at first but you get used to it. Think of them like tanks with legs and not big people. Mech weight plays a role in how agile they are but bigger mechs get bigger guns.

There's also a time and money managment system, if mechs get damaged or pilots get injured, its gonna take time for mech to be repaired and refitted, for pilots to recover from injuries, traveling between places or just even doing missions. That might mean you miss out on stuff or that you get closer to the paycheck you have to give your crew every 90 days.

In conclusion, the game is hella fun. Go play it. its dirt cheap

RIP the S15 model. Ripped straight outta Forza.

This mod is amazing, its frustrating and good lord do I love it. Custom voice lines along with a completely new portal that adds so much depth to the entire mod and it forces you to think far out of the box compared to the two original portal games

I came into the game curious about what this game was like.

I did not expect it to be this good however. What. A. Game.
The flying is almost a 1-1 copy of how Ace Combat 7 feels and it is amazing. The story is fun and has a few twists and turns. The AI actually fights alongside you and will snipe targets away from you.

If anything the story mode can be a smidge unforgiving due to some of the longer missions and absolutely no checkpoints but that also adds to the satisfaction of saying that you've beaten this game, even at Normal you're gonna have to get your ass handed to you a couple of times before you manage to finish it.


10/10 this game blew me away

Dispite how short the game actually is, the puzzles are entertaining and the demon girls are really fun to interact with. 10/10

You like Mech combat? Buy it.
Youre a eva/gundam weeb? Buy it.
You like a huge complex story? B U Y I T

This game was a treat from start to finish, combat is great, the gameplay loop is fast paced, the music is great and you can make your own dream mech and pilot. What more do you want?
