Great SWAT experience, reminded me lots of SWAT 4, which makes this even better. It's still early access so not everything is perfect right now. That said, considering this EA launch and comparing it to other releases this year: you get one fine game for a "low" price.

War Thunder is by far my most played game. The vehicles are modeled beautifully and when it comes to the gameplay there is no other game like War Thunder, it's unique and offers a game mode for anybody.

Now to the problems... Gaijin... where to even start?!

When I started playing you didn't need a premium account to grind and earn a reasonable amount of SL (ingame-currency). Nowadays you need not only a premium account, no you also need premium vehicles if you want to be able to grind through the tech trees. The aviation trees seem to still be reasonably well to grind, whereas ground forces suffer (I don't know anything about naval, heard it's bad as well though).

Gaijin openly said that "free" vehicles are supposed to lose you SL if you're an average player which does NOT work for free to play titles. Not everyone can be an above average player, so what do you do? You get yourself a premium vehicle (most likely around the BR's 8.7 - 10.0) and spam games. You might be new to the game, only have this one vehicle at this BR, don't know the high BR dynamics and die. You won't earn much money, you won't have much fun and you also hurt others which grinded through the tech tree, earning the high BR matches by leaving their team in a bad spot so they'll most likely lose.

Now the player base starts to fight all this by leaving Steam reviews, bad Steam reviews and what is Gaijin's reaction to all this?
They "threaten" to take the game off the Steam store.
Gaijin, like a small child, is unable to accept that maybe they might've gotten something wrong. They need to prove us wrong and always want to make themselves look good as if they've never been wrong, ever.

Once Gaijin admits that there are problems here and starts to fix them, maybe then I'll be able to recommend this game but until that day, be warned and don't give them any more money.
