The game is fun because of it's wacky mechanics. It's really only worth playing if you truly have no money to spend on Payday 2 and/or the dlc's. Otherwise just buy payday 2, this game legit takes everything from that game. Just buy the superior game or wait for Payday 3 to get better.

This game was well crafted together, a beautiful and engaging world and story to play. It's a solid horror game that I think most people would enjoy, especially Resident Evil fans. It had a very similar feel to RE 7 and RE Village. The mechanics are very simple to understand so it's also quite beginner friendly for those just getting into horror games. It's not too long as well so, if you got around 3 to 5 hours to kill, you should definitely buy this game!

This game was really only worth it at a sale price. There are a lot of things that were fun about this game, but a lot that was pretty a s s.

First off, I love the game play. I love how it's open world to a point but still has a mission-based campaign. I personally found this very enjoyable. The world in this game is also really cool, it was crafted very well and a lot of backstory is put into it. I haven't fully played the first two metro games but I know of them (probably should have played them in order to better understand the characters). With that in mind, even not knowing the full backstory, I was able to piece together Artyom's relationship with the others, and found that they were quite good. The monsters and npc's are all pretty cool. Except when you look at them in the notes section in-game. They have some weird a s s names ngl. =

Now onto the bad. The game constantly would freeze-crash, and I was unable to alt+f4 and/or task manager, end task. This would result in me having to restart my pc. Although this was fixed by lowering the graphics, turning on v-sync and tinkering, it was still hella annoying restarting my pc up to 4 times in a span of 10 minutes.

Now what I personally disliked about this game is the dialogue. It was just so weird, sometimes the dialogue felt like it was straight out of "The Room". Overlapping and just being the most generic a s s dialogue I've heard. It was also hard considering Sam's voice (Steve Blum) was just his regular voice. The whole time I was questioning whether or not he was supposed to be American or if it was a half-a s s job at a Russian accent, which couldn't be possible as I know Steve Blum is an amazing voice actor. Also considering that the dialogue was mostly optional just felt out of place. I lost a lot of the story since I just went off to do more important things. Other than that there were a few minor annoyances but that's just me.

Overall the game was a fun play, but I probably won't be playing it again for a very long time.

Played this for the first time and finished the game 30 years after its release, and it was one of the most fun games I've ever played.

I strictly bought this out of nostalgia and having wanted to play the game again. Though, like many, I have encountered many problems with this game. Like all Playstation exclusives on steam, these games were built for consoles. So, the ports may or may not be that good. I have had good experiences with games like God of War and Spiderman, and less than favourable experiences with older games such as The Force Unleashed. With The Last of Us, there are a few main problems that many people seem to share; the shaders, and crashing.

The problems I have run into with this game are multiple crashes. I was able to resolve the issue temporarily by messing with the graphics settings. While streaming on discord definitely did not help with the crashing issue lol. I was maybe able to play 1 to 2 hours at a time without crashes. This was when my game was downloaded to my hard drive.

I then reinstalled the game on my NVME. I am currently running some decently old hardware, a 1070 ti and a Ryzen 5 3600, and these parts are all well over 5 years old. After re-downloading the game, dropping the settings to medium/low and waiting for the shaders to compile (Which was close to an hour, on the hard drive it was a little over an hour). This wasn't that big of a deal for me personally as I have experience waiting for the shaders on the past COD games since 2019. After the switch, I was able to run the game just fine for around 3 hours. (The game did not crash after 3 hours, I simply quit to go do something else :p)

In the end, it's just best to tinker with the settings no matter how long it takes (Try not to make your settings too close to your total VRAM usage. Seems to have worked for me). Re-download the game if it continues to crash, or re-download it onto a different drive like I did. And for those who have yet to buy the game, if you're a really big fan of the games and want it on PC and/or a fan of the tv-show, or just want the nostalgia of playing this game, it's a definite buy. (That's if you really want get playing as soon as possible). If you're fine with waiting, I would wait for a price drop, or look for it on websites like gg.deals or g 2 a.com. Anyway, sorry for the long review, hope you found this helpful, have a good one :D.

[Edit: I have come across some more problems, one of them being annoying but, easily dealt with. The game doesn't seem to know, which monitor is which. The game isn't synced up with my windows settings and which display number is which, and so far I have had to change the display in in-game settings everyday to a different number. I have also seen numerous glitches, or little things like Tommy T-posing on his horse for a few seconds but, nothing too serious.]

Early Access Review
If you've played The Forest, this is a must play game. Although the controls are mostly similar, there is a difference in the way this game is played, so just be ready for that. After you've gotten used to the games mechanics you'll be chilling. The only thing you have to worry about is not sh i t t ing your pants while exploring caves.
