I still don't get why half of the games by Ubisoft have to be played using Ubisoft Connect when it can just be normally played on Steam without any other launcher.

But anyway here are the pros and cons of Far Cry 5.

Pros:

-Decent Storyline that fits together the stories from all four original series. The Kyrat Bomb at Far Cry 4 is the one that nuked Far Cry 5 and technically screwed the quarther of Montana.

- Familiar Faces from all four original game. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ FBI Agent 3-4, The High on Drunks Neckbeard Hillbilly American with Guns from 3-4, The Contractor 2-4.

-Weapons can be creatively mixed around to fit your style. You wanna be a gun n run player, go guns blazing American Style, You wanna stealth, be the hunter, take a bow and some traps along. You want to cosplay or actually play as historical or fantasy figures, heck get the DLCs that come along seperately or with the season pass and you get access to the weapons especially in base game. (Alien Blasters literally one shot everything, so theres no need to actually cheat in this game lol)

-Low End Systems can play this game.

Cons:

- Characters personality are pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and boring, except the Main Antagonist and the Side Contractors stated above.

- Optimisation at some parts of the game are terrible for Low End Systems.

- Less firefights compared to 2 or 3. Enemies barely spawn in this game except at main raid points. You will occasionally get Assasins, Car Chases and Ambushes the more you progress but it will be too easy at that point to kill them all.

- Too many QoL, its nice to have QoL options, but over time some options gives advantages even for normal players and make the game too easy.

Bruh, I clutched my teammates hard.

They rather wait at one spot and hold for no reason, when there's no enemies. I ran away with the bounty and extracted while those two got shot immediately at the last second of extraction.

Lets just say, I saved them a second XD.

An enjoyable, fun and immersive game if you are into Space Cowboys, Comedic-Gold, Corporate Societal Issues and an overall, fun (albeit short) main story.

Theres alot of things to do as side quests with multiple consequences with various playstyles.

You can be a Genocider, A Gunslinger, A Smooth Talker, A Gun-Blazer, A Scientist, A Doctor or even A Dumb Person "Uh-huh".

Don't let the Bethesda "Supporters" fool you. The game is enjoyable on its own with or without mods, try out many runs, please do side quests... It can help you in the long run with Purchases, Selling and even Upgrades for your gear and clothing.

There are currently mods available for everyone, but due to the small community, it will take some time for those Overhaul Mods which makes the Game into Borderlands or COD MW or some weird creation of Anime.

Patience has been put in this game from the ground up and updates still happen to this game to fix bugs and add more QOL (Quality Of Life) settings.

Please give this game a try if you are into the acclaimed Fallout New Vegas, A New adventure awaits you Spacer.

As they say, "It is not the Best Choice"

IT IS SPACER'S CHOICE!

This is the game you would try out if you are into a game of a splice of Mirror's Edge + Dead Island + Far cry. I mean it is literally made by the same people who made Dead Island and this is what you expect to be a better version of it.

Live your life as a Zombie Hunter, a Prisoner of your own sins in the harsh world of Harran. A vicious foreign land as similar to being in Palestine or Iran. Slay the zombies with the lightest Knives to the heaviest Axes. Sand your own storm and explore the harsh open word as you scale every mountain and every platform. Even if you don't have a fear of heights, this game surely will.

New Players : "Oh ♥♥♥♥, Free Weapons and Armor!"

Vets : "Y O U T A K E A S I P F R O M Y O U R T R U S T Y V A U L T 1 3 C A N T E E N!"

Overall, this DLC is pretty decent for a start-up game but you eventually stock up fast over game-play such as corpses or pick-pocketing so there is really no need unless you want the beginning edge.

This DLC is mostly used nowadays for the meme-ing of the 'Vault 13 Canteen' item that comes with the Classic Pack that heals you infinitely every 5 mins when it stays in your inventory. It's actually useful when you play Harcore Mode as you don't need to heavily rely on water sources as the canteen takes care of it for you.

Other than that, free weapons or the love for collecting for the sake of collection is pretty outstandingly good. No downsides except wasting a few bucks.

"Just remember though, dear players...

the game was rigged from the start." *Eye glows in red while holding a sniper rifle*

The new has no diffrences to the old, both the killer and the map is annoying to play against or in.

Not powerful wise as killer as of current standing but still a machine at killing, easy and quick to pick up but gets boring fast due to excessive one tricking or just survivors turning potato headed

Map is just too huge to conpensate and its a pain against coordinated teammates. (A little easier against solos or pubs now).

There was only two infinite loop in the yamaoka house, but its still there, only nerfed. If you break the breakable wall to block the infinite, you screwed yourself over tenfolds.

Survivors perks are terrible unless you want to stick to Auto-Didact, for the memes or just pebble, for who knows what reason. Smart killers and proffesional ones dont fall for the perk, its just a filler perk which may work against 1v1 Newbie Killers that rely on sight instead of sound. (Survivor also barely gets any cosmetic because of the lack of popularity and overall better 'immersive' named Claudette, who is free).

I recommend this DLC, if you like Japan, Like a hot Jamaican Sensei, or just want to calm the potential Waifu that cries like Luigi 24/7

A good and challenging game when it comes to platformers.
If you are not into violence or gore, This is totally not the game for you, there is no way to turn off blood nor the violent actions, the enemy sprites do when your killed or smacked with.

The game isn't grindy wise, which is good. You can complete the game without the use of guns or max increase items. I literally beaten my first game with only new moves.

Once completed, you will unlock a special operations tab upon completion of the game and a new menu once everything is purchased. The developer is on the works of making new skill sets, new moves, new maps and new enemies and characters. Patience is the key for a small team even if its one-man so have fun speedrunning this game if you so wish.

Happy hunting !~
P.S - No You cannot cheat your way into CGs or Death Scenes. Its easy to complete anyway so theres no need to scurry around.

"IF YOU DON'T ROCK AND STONE, YOU AIN'T COMING HOME" - Dwarves

Deep Rock Galactic is a coop shooter that excels in teamwork in a procedural generated area in multiple biomes from sandy stones to ice cold freezing terrain.

Consisting of four classes, the four of them have their own strengths and weaknesses of tools to aide the team, to themselves or towards the enemies, the horde.

There is never a bad map or gameplay but rather cooperation or players. Most maps are randomly generated so no match will be similar in your journey, You basically visited 1000+ different maps by the time you played this game for a couple of hours.

Customisation is to the extreme. You can customise almost anything from clothing, to appearances, to weapons, tools and even your own robots and style of gameplay.

Bring along your friendss or even makee friends in the many lobbies to come. Most players are really friendly and helpful! Especially the proffesional or the veterans of the game. We all been greenbeards for once. (Just don't be that douche that comes from free weekend or sales that thinks this is some place to vent and be toxic, weee don't tolerate your behaviour.)

Would I recommend this game? Definetly, this is a rare gem in the dust that deserves to be awarded the best with friends/labor of love for its consistency and positive community.

Darkest Dungeon is a 2D Dungeon Crawler Roguelike Turn-Based RPG (whew) clearly inspired by lovecraft and cosmic horror elements that attempts to answer how a team of heroes would react to fighting abominable horrors and coming face to face with impossible events. And, honestly, it does a great job at it.

In Darkest Dungeon you are the heir to an Ancestor that, as their last wish, wanted you to return to your family Estate and "fix" it. So onwards you go, to your mad uncle's estate to try and fix everything that he committed before dying.

You play by sending 4 Heroes to explore a dungeon, completing missions that can either be short or very very long. While exploring Dungeons you can find rooms with treasures, enemies, quest items, etc. And this is where the game really starts to shine. It's a turn-based RPG, so things are rather simple, but the addition of a special mechanic called "Stress" (plus how unforgiving this game is) makes things way more interesting. Your stress increases after certain events or actions, such as reading something terrible or being hit by a special attack, until you finally become afflicted (mostly a debuff while also stressing other heroes and doing random actions sometimes), or, rarely, virtuous (overall buff, helps other Heroes or themselves) when the bar reaches 100. The hero will eventually get a heart attack upon taking 200 stress total, which will either put them at near death (Death's Door) and recover some stress or kill them outright, so you've got to constantly keep your Heroes' stress in check and have a plan for when things get sour. Another interesting mechanic is the Light Meter; the brighter it is, the safer and calmer the dungeon is. The darker it is, the more dangerous and unpredictable the dungeon becomes... however, treasure becomes more common. It gets darker every time you move, requiring the use of torches to keep the dungeon bright. It's recommended that you stay with a high light meter unless you live for the risk and the GOLD. After all, "To those with a keen eye, gold glimmers like a dagger's point". Between missions you stay at your city and upgrade buildings, build districts, cure Heroes of diseases, sell trinkets, etc. It's basically your base of operations and where you plan your moves before doing the next quest.

You have 7 (4 "normal", 2 DLC and the eponymous Darkest Dungeon) locations to choose to go to. The main being Ruins, Weald, Warrens and Cove, each of them with different types of enemies, bosses, rewards, curios, traps, etc. The difference between locations is great and adds quite a bit of flavour to your time doing quests.

This game has a bunch of different Heroes to choose and play with. 15, to be exact (excluding the Musketeer, the Flagellant and the Shieldbreaker, which are DLC). They are all completely different from each other, providing a unique style for every character you're playing as. A point where this game really shines is making the perfect team to go KILL GOD. Also, with so many options available, there's no "perfect" composition, as every Hero is great in their own way.

The combat is the main part of this game and it is expertly made. Effects such as stun, bleed, blight, debuffs and buffs are present here along with stress. This game has a lot of enemies, and part of it is figuring how to properly deal with what is thrown at you... although most of it focuses on taking out the enemies that can heal/buff their companions or apply stress to your team. Critical hits are really important here. They deal 2x damage and are one of the only ways for Heroes to relieve stress. Enemies can also land critical hits, and if they do, they will apply stress on top of the extra damage.

As you might have guessed, This game has a LOT of RNG. So much so that many times I found myself in a very solid and safe position... and things would still fail me. Everything perfectly planned, perfectly thought of... but still having things go wrong. No game got me in such a sulky mood like this one, and yet I still love it. This is what the devs intended. Things will go wrong, but you can always try again. It is unfair, and that is the point. Attacks can miss, enemies can dodge, you can receive crits, Heroes can either withstand multiple blows or die to the first attack at death's door, etc. I don't blame the game for this. In fact, the game has a bunch of mechanics that help you out (or at least tries to relieve you of some insanity). For example, the game is very upfront with enemies weaknesses/strengths; it shows you a handy info chart when you hover over them. You are also able to escape battles/dungeons most of time.

This game has a narrator. That could seem just ok at first glance, but it's a core aspect of the whole experience. He simply gives so much life to this game. Whenever you do a critical attack, he's there to motivate you. When you receive a critical attack, he's there, making you contemplate your mortality. Whenever you step on a trap, he's there to mock you. Whenever you disable a trap, he's there to congratulate you. I couldn't imagine playing this game without hearing his lovely commentary over it. It's rather "simple" in its aspect but the way it was done, with the specific, almost "old-timey" way that he speaks with the somber mocking tone in his voice make the whole narration amazing. Props to Wayne June for doing such a great job.

This game's art is fantastic. The gloomy, inky outlines with the horrifying... horrors. The omission of the character's eyes and the heavy focus on shadows make for a style that's immediately recognizable and extremely well made and pleasing. I really loved it and seeing different people, beasts, and creatures from beyond was just... wow...

The music? Fantastic. Chatwood really knocked it out of the park with each track. The ambiance is on point and the battle tracks are just hmm~ amazing. I love how it gets stronger and scarier the darker it is. My fave has to be Return to the Warrens. The animalistic beat along with the swine shrieks in the background are a perfect combination.

Overall, Darkest Dungeon is simply amazing. It is "hostage" to the RNG gods and can indeed be frustrating at times but it tried to bring innovation to the old turn-based RPG formula and it did a very good job at that.

This is a game that everyone who is into rogue-likes or who are willing to try rogue-likes should go in. It might be tough but hey, you may as well enjoy it!
