This is the only Tropico game I've played in the series. All of the different play styles seem balanced enough, which makes the game much more enjoyable than other, more imbalanced simulators. Gameplay is straightforward, yet interesting even after hours of playing.

As another reviewer said, this game looks cool, and it honestly is a well developed physics engine. However it just was not fun to me, and I imagine it wouldn't be fun to most people.

I recommend this game if you are an astronomy fanatic, if you don't mind a somewhat steep learning curve, and if you have time to kill watching planets collide. However I personally found this game unrewarding.

Has some serious issues with AMD graphics cards. The game jumps from 60 FPS to 10 FPS and back to 60 repeatedly. Also I occasionally experience some serious tearing and random textures appearing in mid-air.

Until they fix these issues with AMD graphics cards, this game is just not worth playing.

There is so much DRM packed into this game, it is a pain just being able to play it after you buy it. I gave up after 10 minutes of filling in product keys and trying to create accounts and now I'm having trouble connecting to Microsoft LIVE.
