Excellent game. Give it a try if you want a RPG without the fantasy aspects.

Gets repetitive over time, less enjoyable story and mechanics than Persona 5, and game frozen for me on 2 occasions and counting in the middle of Tartarus.

Nice mix of tabletop and 4x. It's fun and addictive.

Everything I wanted in a historical 4X game. Possibly more fun that Civ and Humankind.

I remember when EU4 came out, everyone hated it but I loved it even on release. I don't quite "love" Victoria 3 to the same degree, but I still think it is worth buying and playing. It reminds me more of Stellaris on release, where the core gameplay is there but it needs lots of tweaks to perfect. If you want to play an "ideal" Victoria 3, wait a year or two to buy it. If you are impatient like me, buy it now and enjoy it as it is now.

Fun game, the English is difficult to understand so sometimes you have to guess at what the game is trying to tell you, but it's still worth playing.

Edit: For some reason there seems to be a huge spike in difficulty between 4 and 5 (It went from being somewhat easy to being pretty much impossible) . I feel like I may be missing something that is necessary to continue. It's still a fun game but this is disappointing. Maybe someone can help me if they've finished difficulty 5.
