Even though i love the smt and persona series i have many gripes with different games in the series and this game isnt free from them, i have not seen the entirety of the game but ive played enough.
The story is amazing like usual atlus delivers with a captivating interesting and unique story with multiple psychological references. The confidants/slinks even though i thought they would be better than p3-p4 werent really that great they take way too long to actually go anywhere and feel bland and generic (might just be me tho)
atlus games usually take a while to get going but my god this one takes ages, it drags on and on and you never really feel like gets anywhere. Long games can definitely work but this one could remove 10-15 hours from the runtime no problem.
Joker is honestly a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ main character he is way worse than Narukami and Makoto, he dosent have the same vibe as the other main characters and he mostly feels like a boring tropy im super bad ass character.
The main cast in this game sucks absolute donkey balls only good character was ryuji the others were vastly inferior to p4 in every way the characters are so unmemorable and boring its crazy from the same company that made amazing characters like yusuke, naoto,kanji,yukiko,yukari,mitsuru and junpei to fumble the bag like this is insane, these characters suck, their borderline insufferable persona 4 had a cast full of personality and union every character worked together to create a magnificent cast. Persona 5s cast is cringy they introduce more cuss words in this game and it makes the dialogue so cheesy its like they tried to make the game more mature and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in every way possible. The cast is also extremely unrelatable a femcel that blames herself for her mothers death, an artist that discovers that he was used by his master. Like what the ♥♥♥♥ is this, in p4 we had a struggling teen dealing with her desire to escape from a boring town and a guy that hid behind his idea of hyper masculinity to repress his femininity.
A small thing is also how they made the velvet room assistants two annoying little girls why?
We had two amazing ones before and now this?
The combat is vastly improved in this game and so is the dungeon crawling (thank god) so the dungeons arent just run around in a randomized rectangle and get attacked by black blobs, its actually depth full and new.
I also dont really like the music in this one as much as the others, well maybe thats just because we were spoiled by the godlike persona 3 soundtrack.
Despite the fact that there are a lot of things i dont like and the fact that i think its the worst of the trilogy we dont speak abt p1 and p2. I still think persona 5 is one of the greats in terms of turn based modern Jrpgs it can definitely hold its own and is an instant recommendations for anyone wanting to get into the genre, if your thinking about buying the game, buy it, if your not buy it anyway.

Have fun getting combod for all your hp to then finally break it, for you second later to press the wrong button that sends you multiple frames minus then XXIGETZEROHOESXX proceeds to not let you play the game for the rest of the set.

Everyone that plays this sucks massive ♥♥♥♥ while they cosplay as Astolfo. They feel a sort of thrill from the constant penetration, the art of sitting across the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map and somehow killing me when im playing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ medic, those retarded cucks keep on sniping my ass i try to move an inch from my spawn point and some ♥♥♥♥ named Tyrone anally rapes me in the ass. Good game
